I am all for the added benefits of this app but I feel jipped. I didn’t find out about this app until I had been working for like 3 weeks so I’m missing 150 salt. Needs an option to go back and add.

You can set “goals” to which reward you want to work towards. I set my goal on the Air Pods because my headphones broke not too long ago. I constantly worked tirelessly on multiple shifts at my job in attempt to accumulate the quantity of “salt” needed to redeem that specific reward. Right before finally accomplishing the amount of “salt” required for my set goal (Air Pods), the Salt app took down the reward and is no longer available. What’s the point of setting a goal and focusing on accomplishing it, just to have your aspiring goal stripped away after doing what you were told to do to receive it. It’s not honest, it’s unfair and down right asinine. Will this happen again as soon as I get in reach of the alternative goal I’ll have to set since I cannot receive my initial one? Doesn’t matter because I will not be using this app any longer. Low class energy. Would not recommend at all.

No Rewards Being Offered?!?

I’m not sure if the app is no longer working or what is going on. I downloaded it a few weeks ago and I’ve been “mining salt” for my hours worked, but there are only (3) Rewards in the Discover Tab and they expired month ago. (1) expired April 2, 2025 and the other (2) expired on July 30, 2025. What’s the purpose of using the app for if we can’t even redeem for any rewards? Has the app been abandoned by its developers and/or forgotten about? It would be nice to know something and judging from the reviews lately, it seems that it may be the case. The overall idea and concept are great and I think that if the app was actually functioning as it was designed and implemented to do, that this app would actually do very well. I’m not sure what’s going on with it or what has happened to it. If it does get working properly, I will update/adjust my review.

I’m a bus driver and I was saving my salt from last school year to use after working for a few months this school year to save for something I had my eyes on.. well now the app won’t even open and I’m assuming all my salt I saved is gone 😞 i would have used it before if that was the case.. highly disappointed. My co workers have also had multiple issues in the past with this app. Honestly at this point a waste of space on my phone. Will be dealing
