You are visiting a famous and prestigious gallery in Florence which was once an elite educational institution for art students. But today it’s claim fo fame rests on the fact that it nests some of the most inspiring sculptures of Michelangelo within its unassuming walls. Walking inside its tired facade will hardly prepare you for the glorious view of its high ceilings and interiors that hosts monumental statues and massive wall length paintings. The godly and heroic statue of the Colussus of David looks down on an aisle of equally well known but lesser beings known as the Slaves. Rub shoulders with Michelangelo himself captured by his student with uncanny greatness and bid farewell after gazing upon sumptuous paintings adorned with glittering gold foil and shiny silver. Your final stop after seeing an impressive plaster gallery would be the most intricate and loveliest tapestry - one of great cultural and religious importance in the whole of Italy. Trace your way back gazing upon for one final time the colossal amd extremely beautiful altarpieces from the Renaissance. The presence of a rare collection of Baroque musical instruments is the secret everyone knows but no one tells you - but we will divulge the sweet secret that it is indeed the icing on top of this delectable collection.
