Extremely well thought out and useful app. Everything one would need for practicing and improving. High quality backing tracks and the flexibility to change keys and tempos are amazing. Although the app name of La Pompe Live may seem like it is only Gypsy Jazz oriented, there is a wide variety of different jazz songs available. Tuner works great and the metronome is top notch. Plus the ability to create and share charts. I will definitely be recommending this app to my other musician friends.

This app is a must have for anyone who has used Christiaan’s Youtube backing tracks or watched his instructional videos. It has a ton of features and works as described, offering musicians hours of quality practice time to hone their phrases and craft their solos. It’s a great way to apply Christiaan’s methods (e.g. Creative Rerun, etc.) while working on the phrases in his videos and e-books, but it isn’t limited to that. The tracks work with any instrument, they are not overly busy or distracting, they sound great, they swing like crazy and the list of songs (and new features) grows by the day! I’ve been using it daily since I got it, and Christiaan himself does as well! Be warned: you may find yourself practicing more than you ever have before!
