Basic info

App connected with no issue to my wife’s Rove6. Just basic info hopefully they’ll add the ability to change O2 liter setting. Just updated to new version. It’s trying to update my firmware but has been stuck at 1% for 40 minutes

App update

Purchased portable oxygen concentrator directly from Inogen 2 years ago. Downloaded original app upon purchase and it has always functioned well. Really like the product; however, their customer service is the worst I have ever experienced.

Downloaded new app to my Apple devices on Monday 2/12. Cannot get past opening page, asks me to confirm my date of birth and last name, which I do, then when I hit confirm, a circle of dots spends around for a couple minutes and ultimately returns me to the same start page. I can no longer even access content on original application.

Called Inogen on Monday and again on Friday. 15 minutes on hold each time without anyone answering. I have always experienced delays in the past with Inogen, but none this bad. You would think if they know of a programming defect they could notify us by email (as they did when notifying us last week of the new application release). This app is not for some entertaining game, it services a medical device which for most of us is necessary to insure continued health and avoid serious medical complications. Inogen needs to get its act together

Software upgrade 2.0

The new software told me to upgrade when I opened the app on Feb 10. Unfortunately the upgrade did not deliver all the upgrades and says I have v1.8 still. Called customer service at Inogen and was on hold for 15 minutes. Called the local company Oxymedical in Glendale, AZ where I purchased it and left a message. No answer left a vm.

The app has now crashed. So far have wasted about 3 hours on hold with Inogen customer care and talking to OxiMedical. No solution. Having been from the software industry I cannot think of another product that not only doesn’t work but also has a zero rating customer support team. I wish they could deliver a good product.

I look forward to hearing from Inogen.
