It couldn´t be simpler: LIGHTIFY installation in 3 steps:

1. Download the free LIGHTIFY app on your smartphone or tablet PC

2. Insert the LIGHTIFY gateway into the socket and connect it to your WLAN router

3. Install your LIGHTIFY lamps and luminaires and follow the app instructions

Welcomed update with improvements in all the right areas

With nearly 40 Lightify fixtures plus switches and motion detectors mostly of which I've operated for more than two years, I was happy to see the update (however unplanned). The process of reprograming my Alexa was a drag, but simply using the application made me know life would be better under v. 2.0

The massive updates included:

* faster command execution (length of time my command took from application to light is so fast it felt like I was flipping a switch in the wall...seriously. Now it's faster than any Hub based light or WiFi-enabled light!)

* finally the ability to schedule with special lighting patterns or moods (while I miss the seagull sounds...seriously I miss them a little...give me the ability to wake up with the Candy lighting effect, or osculating white temperatures if I've over slept!) So awesome #BringBackTheSeagulls 😢

I've been so impressed I've migrated 4 lights back to Lightify management from SmartThings and 2 from Abode!

It takes ls a little work getting them working but reach out for help from Mfg. Because in the end their product is well worth it!

Good job Lightify keep it going!

Osram Remote LED Bulbs

I love how I can program, operate and monitor these bulbs directly from my phone (via a small, simple Gateway) and not from a “Smart Hub”. I hope this product is continued and more such devices are offered.

Latest update has stopped my motion sensor from working

Everything was running well with all my devices before the update. Now my motion sensor will no longer turn on lights when motion is detected. Then this app said I needed to update the firmware on my multicolor bulb, and now it doesn’t work. Thanks for making my Lightify system absolutely worthless. I guess now I’ll have to spend hours trying to figure out what is wrong, or reset everything and lose all the programming I had before the updates. This is ridiculous. I just purchased another hub and bulbs for another location that I do not have constant access to. It costs me $100 to go there every round trip. This is not giving me warm and fuzzy feelings about relying on this product to help make my second house look like it is lived in while I’m not there.
