With the Luxor app, you can adjust fixture intensity and color, create unique themes, and fine-tune your color palette for special occasions — right from the palm of your hand!
CLOUD MANAGEMENT
With Luxor® Cloud management, it’s easier than ever before to bring nighttime living spaces to life. Cloud connection eliminates local network limitations to streamline control in the field and enable remote site management from anywhere in the world via an internet connection.
SITES
Sites allow you to easily manage multiple Luxor systems. If you are the owner of a Luxor system, give your site a name such as MY HOUSE.
Groups
Adjust intensity and colors (ZDC fixtures only) of individual or groups of fixtures to tailor your lighting design. With a Luxor system, you can create up to 250 adjustable lighting groups that can be turned on independently and dimmed from 1–100%.
Themes
With Luxor technology, you can add pizzazz to your home to complement any occasion through industry-leading custom color creation capabilities. Design one-of-a-kind holiday displays, create team spirit for the big game, add company colors for work-related events, or simply adjust colors to match vegetation as the seasons change.
Color Creation
The Luxor ZDC controller provides the ability to create up to 30,000 colors using the latest RGBW LED technology. Use the color bars to select the desired hue, saturation level, and intensity for any light or group of lights. You can also create a personalized palette to easily access up to 250 user-saved color options.
Programming/Schedules
Create custom lighting schedules for everyday living, holidays, and celebrations. Event-based programming initiates custom themes or individual lighting fixtures throughout the night.
Light Assignment
The Luxor Light Assignment Module (LAM) with next-generation ActivAssign™ technology allows for wireless assignment of FX Luminaire LED lighting fixtures and Luxor accessories. Simply plug the LAM into your smart device, enter Assignment Mode, choose the fixture group, aim the LAM at the desired light, and you’re all set.
The schedule won’t let me add an event to turn on another group. The slider for dimming (it’s a 110v switch) is grayed out at 0% and the app crashes if I tap “Done”.It seems to be related to picking a time relative to sunset when creating the event. If I create the event with a specific time it works and then I can go back and change it to 1 hour before sunset. I also put the group I wanted to schedule into a theme by itself but I’m not sure if that is necessary for the workaround.
Absolutely LOUSY system
Allergies need an upgrade
I love that Luxor allows us to (theoretically) have whatever colors we want. The only problem is that the system is very unreliable. Connection to the controller is lost far too frequently, and it is very difficult to re-connect. Tech support is not very helpful. When everything works, it’s great. But anytime I try to make a change (for example, when the sun sets later in the evening), it’s always a guess whether I’ll be able to make the desired change. If I had to do it all over again, I’d try to find a different system (this was the only color-changing one that my landscaper used). Very expensive but not very reliable.
Love the latest improvements

I've been using Luxor for many years and love the new updates and cloud based features. Well done on the improvements!

Powerful hardware undermined by extremely poor scheduling logic and UX.The Luxor app treats “Programs” as independent schedules with no priority or conflict resolution. If two programs are active on the same day, they both run and silently override each other based on timing. The app gives no warning, no explanation, and no way to designate a single active “scene” or preset.Saving a program requires at least one day highlighted, even if the user intends to store it for later use. This forces users into accidental overlaps. Some programs appear saved with no days at all, which suggests inconsistent or buggy logic. There is also no clear way to enable or access “Seasons” (the only viable workaround), and documentation is essentially nonexistent. The result is lighting behavior that feels random, even when the user is being careful. This is not a beginner mistake — it’s a fundamental design problem. The hardware is excellent, but the app needs a complete rethink around scenes, modes, or program priority.
This release brings two big upgrades:
• Demo Mode – try Luxor with a full interactive sample site before connecting a controller
• Redesigned Schedules – a cleaner, guided flow for creating and editing lighting schedules
Also: broader Backup & Restore support, live fixture preview in Themes, more accurate photo color matching, Areas improvements, faster loading, and crash fixes.
