My husband and I had to relocated to New Roads back in March 2017 after the August 2016 Flooding Ordeal which was a major life changing event for us because we were Celebrating Our 25 Anniversary and less than 8 hrs it turned into Happy Floodiversary Honey we’re homeless lost everything starting over in life again with nothing. We were THANKFUL for the friends who offered cute house near Hospital Road in NEW ROADS but we were told ISP AT&T wasn’t available so year 1️⃣ was a HUGHES NET NIGHTMARE! SEPT 2018 our original service was activated and we had no complaints about our new 🛜 provider. OCTOBER 2023 we responded to the Promotional Offer BETTER, FASTER, MORE AFFORDABLE WHOLE. 🏡 WI-FI . After speaking with CUSTOMER SERVICE SPECIALIST (TERRY MEYERS) located in the Missouri Office The appt was scheduled for Service Technician to swap out the outdated Wireless Router &install new HITRON ROUTER with UPDATED SPEED & SAVING 💵 NEXT 12 MONTHS 🤬🤯🤬 WHAT A GREAT WAY TO TOTALLY DISAPPOINT AND UPSET THIS 🏡

I’ve been a Sparklight customer since it took over fidelity and I can confidently say the service is terrible. The internet is constantly going out, often at the most inconvenient times, and yet, every month, the bill arrives right on time, with NO discount or acknowledgment of the outages. And when the service is working, it’s slow, unreliable, and nowhere near the quality you’d expect for the price.The billing system is another major issue. Sparklight charges you in advance for the upcoming month, regardless of whether the service even works properly. It’s incredibly frustrating to pay full price for spotty or nonexistent service, especially when they make no effort to notify customers of outages in the first place.The app is practically useless. There’s no live chat, no real way to get help unless you call, and even then, you’re stuck on hold forever, listening to a message that falsely claims, “There are 0 people ahead of you.” The entire customer service experience feels like an afterthought. At this point, the quality has deteriorated too much to justify the high cost. Between the unreliable internet, poor communication, and clunky app, I’ve had enough. It’s time to switch to a provider that values its customers and actually delivers what it promises.

When are we getting access back to the “service” part of the app. I like to see what my speed is running at in comparison to what it should be. Also, it lets us know if they’re are any problems on yours or our side of things. Would help your customers better understanding where issues are coming from rather than bombarding the phone lines all day.

Sparklight is the best ISP we’ve ever had

We've been in this service area since 1984. During this time we've had multiple Internet service providers. Sparklight's pricing, performance and support is by far the best of any ISP we've ever had. I've just downloaded the Sparklight app and taken a quick look. It looks to have everything needed to determine billing, outages and health of the system. Unlike some of the other reviews, I have had no difficulty logging in to the app or to the website account. I pay via the website each and every month without any issues whatsoever. Congratulations to Sparklight management, staff and to the web and app development teams, and thank you for excellent Internet service at a very reasonable price.
