OptiMantra provides integrative medicine and wellness practitioners with a comprehensive, easy-to-use, online practice management and Electronic Medical Records (EMR/EHR) software that is customized to their practices and services.
In a centralized platform, single and multi-practitioner offices can manage their entire practices: tracking practice details, patient medical information, financial accounts, and supplies.
Everyday tasks - online appointment scheduling, calendar management, the creation, sending and receiving of patient intake forms, the completion of charts, reception of payments, superbills, submission of insurance, tracking and replenishment of inventory - are completed in a couple of clicks.
We have had Opti for close to a year now and they committed to improving the desktop and mobile app on a regular basis. I’m encouraged and our practice has committed to sticking with them. As a business manager of multiple clinics, I find the reporting and analytics to be their greatest area for improvement. Scheduling, billing and provider functionality is good.

It’s upsetting that’s such a robust EHR online would put out such a rudimentary mobile app. First off, the mobile app does only your basic functions and does not flow well. Many of the features in the full online version are not integrated into the mobile app. It often glitches, changes appointments, omits patient names, or just flat doesn’t work. In this business age with CEOs on the move constantly, it is imperative that providers have a robust, working, and dependable mobile application feature. If you can’t create that, then simply don’t have one. I find the mobile app more hassle than it’s worth. Really hoping that the team at OptiMantra put more effort into R&D on this feature. There’s should be no reason why everything that’s done on the full desktop version can’t be done on the mobile app.

I will update this as we go - but this app is not user friendly at all. Don’t expect to use it for anything other than the bare minimum. You can’t see confirmations, you can’t see form sent or filled out. It’ll only show you your schedule one day at a time and have to arrow over week by week to get to a future date…you can’t just plug in a date to get there (awful if you book anything over a month in the future). You can’t see the patients future or past appointments you can’t send a bill or save a bill from the app - I’m hopeful they will add these features in the future as I do see they make an effort to update and give more features. As that goes I will update this review.

Needs improvement. Lets me easily add, change, or delete an appointment and see the daily schedule. Interface for adding/changing appointments is clunky. Doesn’t allow me to see a patient’s scheduled appointments.
- Improvements to payments and patient profile functionality to more closely match web behaviour.
- Improved Messages functionality, including messages-to-tasks and better clarity for setting Patient Portal banner messages.
