QuickTrain will determine your location and let you know using the Chicago Transit Authority's El Train Tracker API, giving you real time estimates on when you train will arriving. Standing at the bottom of a station to see which train to take? Use QuickTrain to determine which train will be showing up first to that location. Underground where there is no GPS signal? Use the intuitive manual mode to find your station in under two touches. Consistently use the same stations? Set favorites to have a shortcut to the stations you use most.

Simple and easy access

Pulls up train info quickly in an easy to read format. Way better than CTA’s mobile web. If you turn on location, it’s even easier, it just picks the nearest stop for you.

I haven’t been on the CTA for the last 15 months. Through that dark time QuickTrain kept me sane. I’d load the local station and watch the trains go by. It’s a great app for commuting or just dreaming about commuting.

Veteran Commuter
A once reliable app is now useless. It will tell you the next train is arriving in 10 minutes, and then 2 minutes later it will advise the same train is now arriving in 2 minutes. Has happened too many times to be a fluke. You’re better off using tarot cards.
