Future date ordering
I basically like the app. I did however run into a problem with putting a future date in for delivery. I put my order in on 6/27. I tried to change the delivery from 7/1 to 7/8. We will be closed for the first week of July. I had to contact my sales rep to have him change it. I hope this is something that gets changed. We are located at a college and have down times. The former app was easier to use and allowed me to put specific dates in for specific deliveries.
This new app is aesthetically pleasing and it looks like it has fantastic potential. However, I have used it two weeks in a row and both times I have had problems.
This week I completed my order and attempted to submit it and it would not allow me to do so. I contacted tech-support and spent an hour in a chat with the support person. The support person suggested that I uninstall the app and reinstall it. I specifically asked if doing that would cause me to lose my order and she said, “No. Absolutely not!” So, I did what she asked and sure enough the order was gone when I logged back in. 🤬
They spent another 20 minutes trying to find it before they let me know that I was just going to have to re-do the whole thing. So, nearly an hour and a half was wasted online and created another hour of work for me.
The concept is good. But I’ll be calling my order in to my rep until the bugs are worked out.
Can’t log in. Needs fixed before June 17th.
I’ve only been able to login one time successfully, which was the first time I used it and entered credentials and created a password. Every time I try to login now on iPhone, iPad, or desktop it states “Service unavailable. Please try again later.” If it was a password or email issue it would state that. What’s going to happen when I can no longer use Sysco Mobile? I am a fairly large customer with Sysco, and I order hundreds of cases a week (two deliveries) so I cannot go without. I’m also very computer literate, so I feel pretty confident it’s not operator error on my part. Are we going to get a fix by June 17th?
