The TennCare Connect app is for Tennesseans who have applied for or are receiving insurance through TennCare, CoverKids, and Medicare Savings Programs. From the convenience of your smartphone, you can access many of the self-service features of TennCare on the web.
Manage and view your cases anytime you want – right from your phone. You can use the TennCare Connect app to check the status of your case, review your health plan information, view your letters, or send us a photo of required documents. If eligible, you can update your contact information, household information, add/update pregnancy records, and add/update your assisting person. You can also add/update your household’s employment income, self-employment income, or other income (not from a job). Eligible users can now renew their benefits directly from the app.

• Add a reminder of your scheduled appeal hearing to your smartphone calendar

If I don’t login online every single day the app locks me out and says disabled due to inactivity. Sometimes I can’t log in every day. This needs to be fixed because I’m tired of calling the number and changing my password just to login once and then be disabled the next day!

I absolutely hate this app

It’s the most complicated app I have ever seen. There is to many of the same letters dated on the same day coming in my physical & my app mail box. Saying the same thing but asking you to do what seems to be it over and over again. I submitted documents after documents,but I still get letters and request stating I haven’t. I call they tell me everything is good. Just wait on my certified letter about my appeal’s dates and time.. It’s sooooooo confusing! It literally gives me a headache to deal with it. Be completely honest I can’t tell from the app or calling what the heck I am doing. So no sign of any progress … I feel Like I am running in circles and chasing my tail….

This is a terrible app. They ask you to take a pic of a document they want yet it never lets you upload it! I go to the website and try to do it there and it takes me 45+minutes and I’m still not done because the website makes it almost impossible to upload one photo! And yes I use my iPhone versus a computer because I don’t own one, so if it’s a matter of ‘using a computer is easier and more convenient’ no. I don’t have access to a computer, that’s why I own an iPhone, so I dont need to purchase a computer. Update this and make this user friendly geez!

It gives you options and when you tap it it give you other options that has nothing to do with the first option. The information for the insurance doesn’t have anything like benefits, providers or another link that takes you to it. I do like being able to submit my information. I guess I just expected a bit more information.
