The TennCare Connect app is for Tennesseans who have applied for or are receiving insurance through TennCare, CoverKids, and Medicare Savings Programs. From the convenience of your smartphone, you can access many of the self-service features of TennCare on the web.

Manage and view your cases anytime you want – right from your phone. You can use the TennCare Connect app to check the status of your case, review your health plan information, view your letters, or send us a photo of required documents. If eligible, you can update your contact information, add/update pregnancy records, and add/update your assisting person. You can also add/update your household’s employment income, self-employment income, or other income (not from a job).

Our app works best with smartphones.

View your cases:
• Setup a new TennCare Connect account if you don’t already have one
• Check the status of your coverage
• Review your health plan information
• Find out if it’s time to renew your coverage

Log in securely:
• Log in to your TennCare account using Face ID to quickly access your account information

Manage account settings:
• Change your password
• Change your email
• Change your security questions
• Sign up to go paperless and view letters we send you
• Enable or disable Face ID authentication

Send us documents:
• Upload photos of the files or forms we need from you

Report changes about your household:
• Add or update your phone number(s)
• Update your mailing and home address
• Add or update pregnancy records
• Add or update your case’s assisting person
• Add or update your household’s employment income, self-employment income, or other income (not from a job)

View your appeal information:
• Check the status of your appeal and upload documents
• Add a reminder of your scheduled appeal hearing to your smartphone calendar

Version 2.5.0

In this update, we’re introducing our redesigned Document Center and Report Changes features. Users can now report changes to their case’s assisting person, employment income, self-employment income, and other income (not from a job). We’ve also expanded the Health Plan feature to allow users to submit and view change requests for their household’s assigned health plan.

I downloaded the app and signed up. Went to login in immediately after & it said my password was wrong. Where it asks to enter your birthday, there are no numbers to select from. Tried uploading documents and received a message about “system error, try again later”. Tried 5 times then the app crashed. If I could I would have given it zero stars

I absolutely hate this app

It’s the most complicated app I have ever seen. There is to many of the same letters dated on the same day coming in my physical & my app mail box. Saying the same thing but asking you to do what seems to be it over and over again. I submitted documents after documents,but I still get letters and request stating I haven’t. I call they tell me everything is good. Just wait on my certified letter about my appeal’s dates and time.. It’s sooooooo confusing! It literally gives me a headache to deal with it. Be completely honest I can’t tell from the app or calling what the heck I am doing. So no sign of any progress … I feel Like I am running in circles and chasing my tail….

App usage

This is a terrible app. They ask you to take a pic of a document they want yet it never lets you upload it! I go to the website and try to do it there and it takes me 45+minutes and I’m still not done because the website makes it almost impossible to upload one photo! And yes I use my iPhone versus a computer because I don’t own one, so if it’s a matter of ‘using a computer is easier and more convenient’ no. I don’t have access to a computer, that’s why I own an iPhone, so I dont need to purchase a computer. Update this and make this user friendly geez!
