Not user friendly

There is no scanning feature on the scanning section. It is just a camera with directions. The app crashes. The benefits available section is horrible. Words overlap. If you scroll down on the food and drinks, the words jump on the screen to try to undo the overlapping. No dates at the top of the screen unless you swipe to the right and left where it is supposed to show. The old app was way more useful

No longer helpful

Shopping for WIC groceries takes me so much extra time & energy, already, it would be nice if the app didn’t make it MORE difficult.

It’s absolutely impossible to scan barcodes with the updated app, and if you do manage to scan anything, it says it’s not a WIC food (when the store has the barcode labeled on the shelf and it rings up as a wic food). I use the app to make sure I’m confident that what I’m buying qualifies for WIC, and I’m shopping with kids- I don’t have 5 minutes to try to scan a single barcode. Some stores also mis-label items as WIC items (Walmart especially) so I like to have the app to confirm. I never had trouble before this most recent update.

The way that the benefits are laid out in the app has always stunk. It’s not intuitive and I’m always uncertain about what I can get, which categories the items fit into, and how many of an item I can buy with my benefits. Add to this that my benefits change constantly as my baby grows and it’s even more complicated and confusing.

I would love if there were a catalog within the app with visual examples of what could be purchased that includes the specific brands and qualifications an item needs (whole grain, no added sugar, etc.). Even a link to the existing brochure would be helpful, I always end up searching for it online.

Not a fan of update!

I had no issues with last version, this update is no good. Keeps closing out randomly, the scan function is different (what was wrong with other version?) the list of items get cut off, so it’s hard to read what you have for benefits on certain things if it takes up two lines to list said items. If you sign out you have to enter your card number every time! Super inconvenient!!!!! Please fix!
