I use Yelp a lot. I do reviews and use the social part with other Yelpers everyday. Recently the push notifications stopped working. I didn’t change anything. They just stopped.
Come to find out from other heavy users that this is common. Many of them have experienced the same problem from time to time. And it just keeps happening. The kicker tho? NO WAY TO CONTACT SUPPORT!!!!!
They have stupid FAQ’s that don’t help you with anything that anyone would need help with.
We all know that Yelp is not the best or most popular app for finding restaurants and other businesses. And it never will be until they have a way to serve their customers and allow users to get the specific fixes they need. The developers are some of the worst. If things don’t get fixed not only will I delete the app but I will pile on the negative reviews.

Update is AWFUL
Been using Yelp FOREVER! I loved it! It’s my way of cataloging restaurants in any city, by meal, etc.
But you made changes! Collections!? Where are ALL my bookmarks! I needed them! I was planning a trip and saving places and they are ALL GONE! None of the groups I made are there any more and the restaurants are gone. All I see are other people’s collections, and no offense, I don’t want to see groups of restaurants other ppl save! I want to see the bookmarks I saved in the groups I created; which are apparently gone. And making me filter my groups by town!? Are you crazy! I don’t know the name of every little town a restaurant is in. It maybe near Boca, but it’s listed as delray. How is it helpful if I have to know the exact town the restaurant is listed under. Then when I search for it I can’t find it in my “collections”, bc I didn’t write the correct town!! I’m livid as you can see! As a Yelp user for as long as Yelp has existed, I’m very annoyed and I have deleted the app. Since there is NO customer service to contact, there is NOTHING I can do…except find a new app to list my restaurants in and save.
Don’t appreciate the change and if you want myself and others back, change the app BACK so I can have MY bookmarks and groups back!
