‣ Travel the globe with Joe Jonas as the Jonas Brothers embark on a worldwide tour. He and one of his celebrity guests (the lineup includes Jack Black, Tina Fey, and Matthew McConaughey) tackle a city in a day, kicking it off with, yes, a cup of joe. Premieres April 27.

‣ This sci-fi sitcom from the creator of The Office imagines a future in which humans can upload their consciousness to a digital paradise. Following a car accident, 20-something app developer Nate Brown (Robbie Amell) finds himself on a permanent vacation in a luxury resort that might be too good to be true. Premieres May 1.

The Parents’ Choice Gold Award–winning series is back with new episodes. Young sleuths Ruben, Chevon, Curtis, and Donna are getting closer to solving the mysteries of the ghost who haunts their neighborhood bookstore and releases fictional characters—including an especially monstrous one—into the real world. Premieres May 1.

After Nikki and Jason decide to adopt a baby, the London couple is confronted with a world of bewildering challenges—from social services interviewing their ex-partners to competition with other couples—as they try to convince the adoption panel they're ready to be parents. Premieres May 1.

Billions is back for another season—as is the rivalry between Bobby Axelrod (Damian Lewis) and Chuck Rhoades (Paul Giamatti). Following a short-lived truce last season, the billionaire and the attorney general of New York resume their favorite pastime: taking each other down. Premieres May 3.

‣ Sports dynasties don’t get bigger than the Chicago Bulls in the 1990s, and sports documentaries don’t get bigger than The Last Dance, a 10-part film that looks at the Michael Jordan–led team through the lens of their final championship season. It includes more than 100 interviews and loads of never-before-seen footage.


‣ After living under the shadow of her beauty queen mom, 40-year-old Ana moves to Hollywood to pursue her dream of acting. Renowned Mexican actress Ana de la Reguera created, wrote, produced, and stars in this semiautobiographical, life-affirming show.


‣ Chris Evans stars in this dramatic legal thriller about a family facing the unimaginable. When his teenage son, Jacob, is accused of murdering a classmate, an assistant district attorney and his wife question their own relationship—and their son’s innocence.


‣ Discover the true story behind one of music’s most iconic groups—directly from Adam “Ad-Rock” Horovitz and Mike “Mike D” Diamond. Spanning 40 years of music and friendship, this documentary—filmed live in Brooklyn—was directed by Oscar-winning filmmaker and longtime Beasties collaborator Spike Jonze.


‣ Showtime’s Penny Dreadful spin-off preserves the original’s macabre, supernatural story lines but transports them from Victorian London to Los Angeles in the late ’30s. A murder investigation leads detective Tiago Vega (Daniel Zovatto) into an astonishing world, populated by the likes of Magda (Game of Thrones’ Natalie Dormer), a shape-shifting demon.


‣ The last season of Phoebe Waller Bridge’s always-surprising drama ended with a bang—with assassin Villanelle (Jodie Comer) shooting Eve (Sandra Oh), an intelligence investigator hot on her trail. Lucky for us, Eve survived and returns to continue her dangerous dance with Villanelle for a third season.


‣ Cate Blanchett makes her highly anticipated TV debut as conservative writer Phyllis Schlafly in this miniseries about the ’60s feminist movement. Rose Byrne plays Gloria Steinem, ardent fighter for the Equal Rights Amendment, which Schlafly vehemently opposes. The nine-episode series features an all-star supporting cast—including Uzo Aduba, Elizabeth Banks, Sarah Paulson, and Tracey Ullman.


‣ Based on the best-selling children's book by Oliver Jeffers, this animated short film follows a 7-year-old’s visit to a mysterious exhibit at the Museum of Everything, where he learns about the planet’s wonders—and our relationship to them. The all-star voice cast includes Chris O’Dowd, Ruth Negga, Jacob Tremblay, and Meryl Streep.


‣ A spinoff of The Good Wife, this series has earned critical acclaim for the way it pairs the political with over-the-top story lines. Show creator Robert E. King promises the most “absurdist” season yet now that law-firm partner Diane Lockhart (Christine Baranski) has to deal with having bosses—not just being one.


‣ A brand-new comedy from the duo behind the critically acclaimed series Fleabag. Keeping a pact they made in their youth, former college sweethearts Ruby (Merritt Wever) and Billy (Domhnall Gleeson), now in their thirties, drop everything to embark on a spontaneous cross-country road trip.


‣ Behold the next sumptuous period piece from Downton Abbey creator Julian Fellowes. The Victorian-era miniseries opens at the Duchess of Richmond’s infamous ball in Brussels, held the eve of the pivotal Battle of Quatre Bras in 1815. Belgravia’s six episodes unspool the repercussions the fete has on two wealthy London families over the course of a quarter century.


‣ Now edging on 30, the women of Insecure are growing up in season 4. With serious relationships and challenging jobs to contend with, the best-friendship between Issa (Issa Rae) and Molly (Yvonne Orji) is tested like never before. Funny yet bracingly honest, Insecure perfectly captures the millennial experience.


‣ Following a chance meeting at a bar, two pickup artists—who consider themselves masters of their craft—decide to put their skills to the test…on each other. Looking for a pick-me-up? This witty Spanish-language rom-com delivers.


‣ After a precocious 9-year-old—and budding investigative journalist—named Hilde (Brooklynn Prince) moves to a small town, a neighbor turns up dead. The sheriff’s department rules it an accident, but Hilde is certain there is more to the story—including the truth that everyone, including her own father, is trying to bury.


Pixar’s newest animated adventure streams on Disney+ less than a month after its theatrical release. Chris Pratt and Tom Holland star as elf brothers who embark on an unexpected quest through a fantasy realm (in a van named Guinevere). Julia Louis-Dreyfus plays their fearless mom, and Octavia Spencer voices the mythological manticore.


‣ At once intimate and sweeping in scope, this historical drama follows five ordinary people from five different countries as they struggle through the first year of WWII. Starring Helen Hunt and Sean Bean, the seven-episode series debuted in the UK to rave reviews.


‣ In each episode of this short-form reality series, model and author Chrissy Teigen plays judge in a small-claims case, while her mother, Pepper Thai, plays bailiff. And, yes, in this court of law Teigen’s decisions are binding.
