I absolutely love this app. The value for money, the cool facts about saving the planet when you place an order and how easy it is to use. My only issue is that I can’t read the reviews even though the tab says “what other people are saying”. The toggle to fetch your order is also a bit hard to use but other than that, amazing!

While ordering once, an unexpected error occurred, which closed the app and then I had relaunched it. Once I was in, the order was confirmed however I was unable to pay for my order. I cannot pay for the order as there is no option to go back in the app to launch the payment window. I also cannot cancel the order as there is no option to do so (until 2 hours before collection time) as my fear is when I reach the store, I will not be able to collect as the item is unpaid. Tried contacting support however they did not provide a proper solution to the problem.Another instance, I placed an order with Vida Tygervalley, arrived and staff were not very helpful at first. They said the order was cancelled but I did not receive an email or sms or push notification. I am still waiting on my refund as the order shows that I did not collect but there was nothing to collect.

I am obsessed! Love it even though we could do with more store options in our area and I thought woolies was also going to be available on refreshi? I would just like to make one special request though, could you please add a section for special requests/instructions when purchasing from stores because sometimes one would like to request that sweet treats like cakes and desserts be kept separate from the savory stuff as your order is a complete surprise and you don’t know what you are going to get.

Thank you so much for the review! We are working hard daily to add more partners to the map. We do our best to describe what could be included in a surprise bag in the description and title, so it is best to take a look before making an order. The exact contents unfortunately cannot be made on special request because a store cannot guarantee what they will have left at the end of the day.

I don’t understand how a place would decide on their own that because you miss a pick up due to emergency work meeting they have the right to just give away your purchase out of their own free will .. wether i pick it up during allocated time or early the next morning .. it’s at my own choice .. if its not as fresh as the day u fetch it or the next day it still remains my property. But that is one thing Refreshi needs to work on .. because yes i book something in the morning and then i get an emergency work meeting or something happens out of my control and then i forfeit my order…

We understand things don’t always go to plan. However, Surprise Bags must be collected within the collection window shown in the app — usually the last 30–60 minutes before the store closes.Stores unfortunately can’t hold onto bags after hours because:Staff need to close up and head homeThe items are meant for same-day collection onlyThere’s no storage space for uncollected bagsWe send a reminder 60 minutes before collection starts, and you can cancel up to 2 hours before if your plans change. If you did not receive a notification about collecting your order, you likely did not allow notification permissions when setting up the app. This is easy to fix:Head to Profile on the appClick on PermissionsChange the necessary permissionsYou can read more about how Refreshi works here:https://refreshi.co.za/faqsHope this explains the process. In these cases where you know you are running late, it is best practice to try and contact the store directly and see if they can make an alternative arrangement for you to collect your surprise bag. Especially if you have exceeded the 2h cancellation period before the collection begins. Please let us know if you need any more assistance.

- Store users can now be added to stores to receive WhatsApp notifications reminding them to pack bags 30mins prior to the collection time.
