Good App, Disappointing Company

App is easy to use, but company is far from transparent with regards to payments. No matter how much I pay, and after two visits to the shop to talk to a rep from du, who confirmed that I have paid a lot extra and have enough credit for one more bill, I keep on getting payment reminders everyday until they get service disconnected. Their explanation: Company/system error... I had to spend a weekend with no internet and no TV because of company error. They reconnect after more complaints, but request MORE unjustified payments.

Too bad I'm stuck with them, and if someone with any sense at du gets this message, please contact me and explain what non of your staff managed to explain.

Poor Update- feels like 2004

As soon as I updated the new fix- comes out it screwed everything- now when there is an incoming call I can’t see it- When I am driving it won’t connect through Bluetooth- Over all I will say the recent update screw the app- I am really disappointed with this service though it’s mandatory to pay AED 50 to use internet calling- Free apps are far better than this. i can really go on for hours complaining but due to Internet calling situations in UAE we don’t have any other options to use this application- I wish this can be fixed and can work like any other advanced application- I still remember when I was using other internet application to do Video call 10 years ago- those one were still better then this and at that time we did’t have high speed internet. I am just wondering how can this happen to the technology in such advance age.

Deducting balance without our authorization

Everyday they are deducting balance from my du prepaid balance. When i call the customer service always busy. And finally when the call is connected they answer that there is third party activation. How they will activate third party products without our authorization? Around 10 times they said they deactivated the third party services. Then untill i recharge my mobile there will be no deduction. After I recharge again the deduction starts. When I call them we need to wait long time again to get connected. Again there will be same answer third pary service activation.

My question is how they will activate to third party without our authorization. And also when i call customer service always their system will be down. After calling several times the calls are connected and thier answer will be “our sydtem is down”
