I’m elderly, I planned on this little Maverick being the last vehicle I would ever buy lasting me for the rest of my life. There’s been numerous recalls, and now the entire computer keeps messing I never know when I have gas in the vehicle and none of the gauges are right, as of last week my headlights were no longer turn off or let me control them, thank God for the switch that’s in the motor that cuts them off before the battery drained. Also, as of last week, the floorboard keeps flooding with water, I put gas in it earlier today and it tells me that there’s 0 miles to empty so I really don’t know how much gas is in it so more gas in it tonight just to ensure that I do not run out. The other day it told me the washer fluid was low so I of washer fluid in there and it still says it’s low. I am living on Social Security now and disabled since 2022. I became disabled a few months after purchasing this truck. It was not part of the plan. I was planning on working until paid off And then collecting Social Security. But I had a stroke in November 2022 that threw a monkey wrench in the equation. And now all these problems with my truck and the dealership won’t even give me a loaner vehicle. I cannot afford to rent a vehicle and I am a grandmother raising four grandkids ages 10, 8,6,and 15 months. Now I wish I had never bought this truck. It has been nothing but stress for me. And I don’t know what to do. I cannot be without a vehicle with all these kids, and I cannot afford to rent one. For them to work on this truck it’s got several recalls that they cannot do because they say they have to keep it for 2 to 3 days . God help me.

Would like to see ALL these features added (many other car makers already do these! - 1) display locked unlocked status (you can’t tell by only looking); 2) battery health, specific charge percent for Broncos; 3) for app to not disconnect if vehicle not used for a length of time - this compromises security!; 4) related to 3, Ford install accessory battery so vehicle can be monitored independent of starter battery (and won’t deplete either) allowing reliable app monitoring; 5) provide and record trip logging by default; 6) allow installed windshield dash cams to be recorded on SIM, and controlled by the app; 7) control vehicle ambience, gauges, displays with the app instead of only in clunky car settings; 8) allow control of audio front back, side side balances - set or change audio presets for treb-mid-bass preferences; 9) better in app notifications of OTA updates (start, push, completion); 10) allow us to add multiple services in car maintenance schedule requests to dealer (currently you can only pick one - often I have numerous: oil, recalls, interval service, tire rotation, car wash detailing, wheel buffing, etc so until we can add multiple, current schedule feature is useless; 11) various fluid level health status (eg windshield); 12) gas gauge level reading (instead of, or in addition to percent due to varying driving conditions you need both); 13) trunk or tailgate open close status; 14) window up down status

The app works great to remote start your vehicle, lock/unlock doors, check mileage, oil life, tire pressure, and distance to empty. You can even schedule your vehicle to start at a certain time. The app provides easy access to Ford dealers and can even help summon road side service.Some possible improvements: There is a lot of information available through the app, but it’s mostly generic. You have to sort through it to find what you need. In todays world, it would be so much better if the app would parse and tailor the information to your particular vehicle and its current mileage. Such as a list of services required at your next oil change, based on your mileage - not just what’s required for every vehicle at every mileage point. In addition, there is no way to check to see if your doors are locked. You must actually send a lock command each time you want to know if the doors are locked. Also, a panic button that sets off the horn and flashes the lights during an emergency. The app could also allow you access to a vehicle specific owners manual, giving you easy access to specifications like fluid types and levels, light bulb requirements, etc.

It seems that my review magically disappeared. No problem Ford, here it is again. You are welcome! This app is lousy! The location of the vehicle is almost always wrong. I drove from the San Fernando Valley to Tijuana Mexico, and the app still showed me in LA. It took hours for it to update to the correct location. Now they use Google maps to show you the car’s location. Google is the granddaddy of spyware software. The bread and butter money maker for Google is the collection, sharing, and sales of people’s personal information. Ford has joined the party to make money (Their points award program is nothing more or less than a scam to sell your information). Therefore if you deny Google access in this app, it doesn’t allow you to see the car’s location anymore. Not even an address. I paid 50k for a car that spies on me and if I don’t allow google to have access then it blocks me. Really Ford? Hey Ford, how about you stop spying on people and selling people’s personal information? After all, you are not giving out your cars for free. We pay for them. And how about instead of using Google Maps, you let people pick what map service we want to use. I would rather use Apple Map than spyware Google Maps. Some of us do understand how personal data is collected and sold and how much money corporations are making… a killing! The only good thing about this app is the maintenance reminders. Everything else is pretty useless. I’ll copy and save this review in case it magically disappear, I’ll be able to repost it.
