Than you everyone for making setting appointments, contacting my doctor, finding information about outside labs is so easy with My Health! The site is attractive and visually pleasing. Not too “busy” looking and really well designed. The response time from my team is beyond amazing and I would like to give call out to these high performances that are occurring at 460 Plumas and 440 Plumas st in Yuba City.Let’s start with a the front staff. The BEST! oh my gosh! They listen and respond accordingly! Next Dr. Kourdoni! He should be given the “ DOCTOR OF THE YEAR!” 🥈 award he is right on top of trying to find out what is going on with me! Just the best! Next, would be “Tina” she is my contact person for whenever I have sent messages to Dr. Kourdoni. Please express my complete appreciation for how she relays everything so effectively and accurately. I just truly appreciate her. I have a completely different opinion of Sutter Health than I did 6 months ago. Go My Health!

This app adds more than one level of confusion to everything. Trying to look at past messages only gives me messages from previous years. I got a message from my current doctor trying to change a telehealth call, but got back a message asking me to call to confirm my insurance. No number to call. I finally tried billing and after waiting over twenty minutes was told that everything was all right and confirmed and was asked why they wanted it again. Anything to do with "our" system of medical services of a farce. I have even sent to five or maybe now six different dental practices with differing opinions but mostly wanting several thousands of dollars whilst the main problem, needing a hip replacement has had me on a walker for six months. Yesterday I was told I did NOT have an infection (why I'd been being turned down) but when leaving that message for the surgeon, was instead booked for a tele health appointment, with the request for insurance info. If it is NOT done before Christmas, I will have to wait until the summer again, because of scheduling problems. But this particular app is worse than some of the others I've had to use, although surprisingly does go back about a decade!

Clearly, it is my own learning curve that kept me so badly frustrated for so long, with passwords, lockouts and giving ups. Today I am glad to report, finally, raising the overall assessment of this app to a two. I have had periods in my life of high agility when it comes to using computers, but as I have reduced that, and as I have gotten older, and as Sutter has systematically farmed out much of their administrative to us, we all need, almost without exception(of course, people with adept assistants Or their own MIS Dept) to us, the patients, with our Haley, and widely varying degrees of aptitude when it comes to the learning of non-intuitive technologies. When will we begin to do our own x-rays and I surely do hope the nearly year long delay in the fabulous new Colo guard/health net/Sutter program resulted in some kind of new profits for Sutter, but somehow I doubt it. But it least it has made my life at least a bit more unmanageable please, Sutter, start trying to meet your patients where they are rather than forcing them into some kind of a shoot, or chute, however you want to look at it. It is easy to blame the patient for the things that slipped through the cracks. But you should stop building an architecture with so many cracks.

The app is nice because there is a lot of things you can do and see regarding your medical care, but there’s room for improvement. Logging into your account isn’t as smooth as it could be, because even if you have Face ID or some other option for quickly signing in enabled, you still have to click to select signing in twice for the app to actually sign you in. If you have a child’s account set up on your app, and happen to need to take them to a Walk-in Clinic or Urgent Care, you can’t make an appointment for them under their name. You have to make the appointment under YOUR account, and put a note in that says it’s for your child, which can cause confusion, and slow down the check-in process. I’ve also had a hard time with app notifications. There have been multiple times that I’ve had messages waiting for me, and have not seen them for quite some time. I don’t check the app frequently, and would like to rely on notifications to know when I have something in the app to check out. Perhaps I just don’t have the settings correct, but I’ve tried different configurations and seem to get similar results.
