This card allows me to receive my retirement benefits. Also get discount so H-E-B items which is the only brand I buy are H-E-B items. Also when I take money off my card and get cash advance, I don’t have to pay no fee. It doesn’t sound like a lot but to somebody who’s on a fixed income like me is a wonderful terrific benefit Dim me to death thanks HUB thank you very much. You have a heart and that’s life for the last 50 years. I’ve been shopping at your store. I trust you I like you and I like your produce and I’m not really a Walmart target kind of person so that sounds a little mean but I love H-E-B and I love this card. Made my grandma a debit account since she wanted to save money with groceries and get cash back that’s offered with the debit account. One day she was unable to pay for her groceries because her card would go through, which she felt very embarrassed of that (mind you the card took the cash she loaded on to it and did the 15 min wait time to use it) and had to leave everything there and go home. She told me what happened and I tried to login for her like always and wouldn’t allow me. I give customer service a call and I gave them all of the info they needed and I let them know that I was the one who made the account for my elderly grandma who uses a flip phone and they rejected me due to all the information being my grandmas and I asked them if it’s fine to have her give permission for me to be on the phone and help her and they denied that for “security purposes” mind you she has no idea what’s going on and just uses the card and not the app. So to solve all of this I have to tell her what to SAY when they would ask her questions but mute the microphone on her phone so they wouldn’t hear me speak for “security purposes” PLEASE for the love of god have a security transfer permission like other banks so this doesn’t happen to other elders who just use the card like my grandma!!!!!

I signed up for this card online. I was asked to provide proof of identification. Between the time I was asked to provide the proof and the time that it took me to gather the proof to upload it, the system timed out and would not let me start the process over. I stopped trying and completely forgot about it. A few days later, my card showed up in the mail. Ok, so I go to activate it online… enter the card info and it says they need further details please call a 1800#. I called. A gentleman answered with a heavy accent and he kept asking me “the year the account was created”. I thought it was an odd question since this card was just rolled out this year. So I kept asking him which account he was referring to and he said he couldn’t answer that question. So he just kept asking me the year the account was created so I finally answered “2022”. He then said he was going to transfer me to someone who can help me continue getting my account set up and then the call dropped. I tried calling back and the number would not go through. HEB is an amazing company that makes a ridiculous amount of money. Y’all can do so much better than this. This was such a huge disappointment.

I signed up for this card immediately when it was introduced. There were so many issues initially with use of the app I gave up on trying. Months later, I decided to give it another try because I was hoping that some of those bags and issues have been fixed. I attempted to mobile check deposit yesterday and it seemed to go through but I never received a confirmation email and there’s no sign of a pending transaction anywhere in my account. I then contacted support to find out how to determine if I had a pending transaction for the deposit. All I received was an AI generated answer that absolutely did not answer my question. As much as I want to love this because I love H‑E‑B, this is an absolutely awful mobile product.I now have a check that I’m pretty sure did not get deposited but can’t really do anything else with it through a real bank that knows what they’re doing because I’m unsure. I did use the free option that takes days to show up and believe this was intentional from the bank/app and it more than likely occurred in order to increase the odds of me using the option with a fee in the future.
