I own an albeit out of date pair of Bose QC-45’s and while the sound quality of both are neck and neck maybe, SLIGHTLY, leaning to Bose, there’s no doubt that the functionality of the A-30’s and above are far superior. In particular the sound customization through the app and the multiple BT inputs capability. They make for a superior product and certainly peak an interest into the sound quality of the A-50’s to have a more fair comparison. I encountered the same problem that others were having when they would change the EQ settings and it would reset to default after closing the app or locking their phone. The trick to save them is to hit the back arrow in the top left corner when you're done editing the settings. I agree there should be a save button, but doing this works.
Don’t you hate it when an app updates and you lose a bunch of features?

Had these headphones and Logitech g hub installed and loving my headphones, sounded great, very food quality sound with good level output. Then one day my headphones aren’t loud anymore. Well the app decided to install a new version and no more eq, no more volume control, what? Why would you update the app and remove features. Super bummed now, can’t get the most from the headphones anymore.
It’s got some problems

It’s pretty easy to use. Straightforward controls and the audio balancing is pretty easy with a tutorial to find what balance you want. The one glaring issue is that when connected with Bluetooth to my phone, the volume will suddenly, without warning, jump to MAXIMUM. It has caused me tinnitus multiple times and happens every time I use it. It is scary and painful, especially when playing games with explosions or gunfire.
