I have no complaints about the ease of using the app for payments, checking balances and seeing transactions in my checking account. Everything works well except for transactions in my HELOC account. The system lags by 2 days; however, I believe the balance updates immediately. Anyway, I have had several instances that transfers between my HELOC and checking accounts didn’t show up immediately and I ended up entering them again and then having to wait days to correct the situation. This caused much anxiety during a recent home renovation.

Doesn’t Work Amymore

I was recently hacked. I’m not 100% sure where the hack originated, but I think it was in my email. I have been working VERY HARD to repair my accounts and protect what’s left of my private information. So I went to the bank and got new account numbers and got that all squared away. Then when I logged into the app, it showed only my old accounts. After a thirty minute call to First Horizon, I got my online/digital banking password changed and my preferences changed to reflect my new accounts. The problem is that I was not able to successfully complete this step in the app. When I tried changing my password, the page would automatically change what I typed in to a long string of random characters. Over and over again this is what happened when I tried the process from the app. In short, I did not feel safe using this app anymore and deleted it from my phone. I guess I will have to use the web interface only from now on. This has caused me a great deal of anxiety and stress. I guess I’m just glad I can login somewhere.

Billion dollar bank with a lousy two cent app

I’ve been using first Horizon bank for years now off of my laptop. It works flawlessly. I attempt to use the online mobile app on my Apple phone and it is a complete joke. I have a background in programming and IT work. I have never seen such a confounding stupid app that is so poorly supported. It does not even make sense that with all the bad reviews on the app that the guy in charge of this even still has a job with the bank. I’m sure since it has 20 people write in that at least works on their phone he is satisfied that there is no need to improve it.What you’re going to really love is, after my post that they’re going to say how sorry they are about my experience and they’re going to look into it. Apparently they haven’t done so for the past thousand users writing them the same thing lolEither that or a two dollar programmer in some country so that they can save a couple extra dollars instead of investing in a professional app that universally works on 80% to 90% of devices out there.

“Upgrade” is a downgrade

The font size and account info in general is so small compared to the last version. Why? Why make the most critical information SMALLER? This is the most important information a user sees when they first open the app and it is freakin tiny.They somehow made it harder to scroll? It only partially scrolls when you move you finger, so when looking at an account it takes way more effort to browse your history. Why make this harder?These are the little things that matter. 2 stars because it’s a functioning app. Feels like they just went in and changed some visual assets without thinking about the experience. Last one was somehow better, which is really disappointing. I’ve been waiting for this app to get better for years.

Mobile App Update – Important Information for Mobile Deposit Users We have released a new version of our mobile app that includes an updated SDK to continue supporting mobile deposit functionality. To ensure uninterrupted access to mobile deposit features, our clients must update to the latest app version by December 30th. After this date, older versions of the app will no longer support mobile deposit. This release also includes minor bug fixes to enhance your overall experience.
