2nd notice: Acct Hist Search Function does not work

Since the last time I wrote the below, not action has been taken. The score of 1 star is not against the App, but the developer who has not corrected an obvious problem.BLUF: Please fix the App Search Function I hardly write reviews, but ever since the last update the Account History search function Auto hides under the top banner “Account History”. When I try to uncovered by scrolling down it returns back to hide under the title banner. Please remove the auto hide or the banner so it will not hide the search function. I am pretty sure that members are smart enough to know they are looking at the account history.

Great bank, not the best app

I have several accounts with six or so banks, and this is the only one that seems to have these issues. The specific things that irritate me about this app: when I want to pay my credit card bill, every other bank offers me a selection of “minimum, current balance, statement balance, or custom.” Every one. Redstone, however, only allows “minimum,” and if you erase that, you can type in a custom amount. It was also more difficult than any of my other banks to cash in my cash back, and there was no option to use it as statement credit. Furthermore, I have never successfully used the mobile deposit feature. It always rejects my checks, saying I have to write “mobile deposit to RFCU” even when I have. Just a few annoyances. I like the bank, though, just my least favorite app.

Concern for customers down the tubes

So from the look of things, Redstone has decided to bring their mobile experience in-house. Also from the look of things, this is a terrible idea. A perfectly functioning banking app is now bogged down with poor design and completely unintuitive data display. Not to mention that I thought my account had been hacked, since this massive change was not acknowledged with any sort of notification in advance, nor any in app messaging to notify me that these changes were taking place. In fact, here on the App Store it shows that the latest update took place two months ago. The person in charge of digital user experience at Redstone, Sean Jones, trumpets on his LinkedIn that he has “saved +24k manhours and $2.6 million in contract costs” and we can now see the fruits of his efforts. IT’S A VERY BAD USER EXPERIENCE. Big mistake, Redstone… watch your customer metrics going forward, you are not going to like what you see.

I’ve used this app for about 2 years and was content with it’s features. The app made my life much easier. However, the last update has problems. When I go to schedule a payment on my credit card, I go to click “credit card info” ( like the tip tells you to and like I have always done prior ) but instead of taking me to a page to continue the next steps, it takes me to a Redstone website sign in page. Even if I sign in again, it refreshes and tries to make me sign in even though I’m already signed in. I am worried if this is not fixed I could end up late on my credit card payment. I have NEVER been late on a credit card payment. I will change my rating of the app and leave a good review if this is fixed soon. Please look into this issue. I read other recent reviews with similar problems.

I’ve used this app for about 2 years and was content with it’s features. The app made my life much easier. However, the last update has problems.
