Sadly, very bad app

App constantly “forgets” that I have a paid digital subscription and constantly wants me to “subscribe”. I get the morning news email digest but if I actually want to click through to read an article - oh boy what a headache!!! An endless loop of login attempts as if I am a new subscriber. This app and UI has been awful for years. Cluttered with ads and pop ups. I actually use to work in a Gannett newsroom and really want to support the IJ. But this app is awful! I can see why the Ithaca Voice is so popular.

This app makes it more difficult to go through pages. You cannot squeeze to enlarge articles any longer, on the laptop moving from one page to the next is difficult because you continue to get the calendar. Terrible update.

Thanks but. If the app would update the paper on a daily basis it would be great. It is an add on to our hard copy subscription. We pay the price and would love to have a daily update. It is at times 3-5 days behind .
