Customers continuously tell me the app is difficult to use. Continuously don’t clip things before they come to the register. Consequently, it takes more time to get them rung out and frustrates the customer. The elderly in our society having a difficult time using the app is there a step system that could be put in our system. Also, the Wi-Fi in our store is very iffy. The customer is unable to get their clipped items in their phone before coming to the register. Consequently, they come to the register unprepared, which creates lines. We have to remember we’re working with the senior citizens in our community and they are used to clipping coupons so they need to be educated in this program. Do you suppose there is a fire that could give a step system to the customer as to how to use the app and get the app? As a cashier I know our job is to help the customer but leave us. Remember there are customers that are in a hurry at this time of season. I don’t want to get stuck behind someone trying to use the app. I see where we lose customers and sales due to this problem. We live in a senior citizen city and most customers are those people. This is just a suggestion and an observation that I see daily. Thank you.

She is so sweet!There are others that I haven’t mentioned. What makes a great store to shop besides reliable products and cost factor are the employees! Each and everyone I have listed have been helpful to me. They have made my shopping experience feel like I’m at home. I know that might sound strange. But would you like to shop at a store you fell at home or a place that you can’t wait to get out of. I like the products Randalls offers. Several things are no longer on the shelves but I’m hoping they will return. If Randalls would train all new employees how to sack groceries, that would be very positive. I do 98% of my shopping at Randalls. Have a great day!

Here’s the issues with the app and Randalls’s. You can look through the weekly flyer and find items you want. Add the item to your list and it’s a hit or miss as to whether the sale price will be applied. For example this week Gatorade is on sale for .88. On my list it shows up already on sale for $1.50. Now I have to wait until my order is delivered to see what the final price is. Another repeated issue. Tomatillos are a $1.69 a pound. I order two pounds. I’m charged for two pounds but only two tomatillos are delivered. Another issue. Blue Bell Ice Cream is on sale. Normally there’s like 15 flavors in the case. Order it through the app you will have two flavors to choose from. My order is scheduled for delivery between 11-12. It’s 2:30pm. I call Customer Support automated system. It tells me my order is scheduled for delivery between 11-12. Again it 2:30pm. I call back to speak to a live person. I’m on hold 30 minutes. He gets on the phone and tells me my order is scheduled for delivery between 11-12. Again it’s 2:30. Now he’s going to send a message to the store. Response time is about an hour. I then call the store directly. I’m told DoorDash does the delivering for Randalls and their not always exactly on time. I wouldn’t call three and a half hours after the scheduled delivery time EXACTLY. I canceled my Walmart monthly delivery program for this one. Mistake? It seems that way. I guarantee that after my order is finally delivered I will have to call Customer Support because I was over charged for sale items.

Good prices but the app is glitchy

I love Randall’s specials but the app has a lot of issues. Sometimes when you click on an item in the weekly ad you can’t add to cart, it just brings up 3 or 4 items to click for online coupons (and it’s for things like patio furniture, not for food you would actually buy). I find it confusing that you have to clip the coupons and also add to cart or you don’t get the sale price. And making a list and adding to cart are in different places. But the worst is that when you’re checking out at the store (not doing pickup or delivery) sometimes it won’t give you the sale price. The employees at the store say that you shouldn’t put your phone number in the terminal; you have to go to the app and click something and something else and scan something…very confusing because there are no directions on the screen when you’re checking out.
