The Dawgy app serves as a one-stop shop for UGA students to explore local deals, employment opportunities, and an online marketplace where students can buy and sell items directly from the app. Access is limited exclusively to UGA students, ensuring a safe and trustworthy community. We partner with local Athens businesses by pitching their existing deals or job openings, or creating new ones exclusive to the Dawgy platform. Users are able to filter results by criteria such as deal category, minimum wage, and date posted. Future updates to the app will be focused on community engagement by introducing additional features, including a sublease feature where students can browse apartments and potential roommates.
