I’m a big fan of the mini feeder I have, and the app is great for setting up a feeding plan that’s as complicated or as simple as you’d like. It’s also nice to be able to dispense food remotely, say if you’re on vacation and you notice that your pet has finished up the food in their bowl and you suspect they need a bit more.The app has a minimalist aesthetic and it is surprisingly easy to navigate. I have low expectations for a lot of the apps associated with Chinese electronics since often the instructions are written so poorly that they’re incomprehensible. This is def. not the case with this app. There are self-explanatory buttons and a pretty intuitive UI. There is still some clunky language in the FAQ/Instruction entries, but I’ve noticed that there are continuous improvements in the text as well as the UI to promote ease of use. It’s quite heartening to see a company actively trying to improve their product.You can also use the app to set up reminders or walk checklists etc. I only have one cat, so a lot of the bells and whistles in the app remain unexplored… but eh. I’m very happy with the app and the feeder overall. It’s very helpful to know when food is running low, if the desiccant needs replacing, or when the feeder is running on back up power.

The app makes life easier. Especially when you’re using the electronic litterbox for the first time. It lets you know when litter is running low and the waste compartment is full. This is based on weight and sensors, so usually it may be a little earlier than when you may actually want to refill litter or change trashbag. But pretty easy to determine how many days works for your fur family. If you have multiple pets, the Puramax identifies which pet by weight so you can see who is using it - very helpful in the beginning of using a new electronic litterbox vs standard litterbox. There are so many smart settings you can control and adjust to your liking.I really like how the app has the ability to add different devices- litterbox, feeder, water fountain. So you only need one app to control and check on functioning of it all. I like the extras - feeding amount guide based on weight and food type of your pet, pet walking goals, overall dashboard or “daily life” of your pet. The app is very easy to use. Sleek and I like the design of it where it shows a picture of your device highlighting features and the detailed history.
Device to app syncing fails at least 95% of the time

I have multiple PetKit fit 3 activity monitoring collars for my cats. When you open the app it is supposed to automatically sync with the fit 3 so you can review your pets activity data, only thing is that the syncing process fails at automatically syncing and also fails when trying to manually sync (by pressing the sync button) the device to the app at least 95% of the time. I’ve gone weeks without the syncing process successfully completing, ffsdespite trying to sync the devices to the app multiple times every single day, which makes the device totally useless! It’s pretty disappointing because I didn’t experience the problem this much after I bought the first collar. It seemed that the activity monitoring devices were quite useful, and I bought 4 more so I could monitor all of my cats. I liked the idea off being able to have such used data about my cats so I was planning to purchase the video monitoring auto feeder, smart water fountain and smart litter box. Now I am definitely 2nd guessing making such pricey purchases if the PETKIT devices are always failing to sync the data with the app, because that makes them all pretty much useless! According to all of the other reviews for the app, the developers seem to have a hard time resolving the app’s problematic issues. I hope that they can fix that because the products all seem to have the potential to be very cool and quite useful if they were able to actually work properly even half of the time😿

PETKIT Auto Litter Box

We replaced an automatic litter box for PETKIT and what a difference. The app is is on my phone and keeps track of all movement and events inside the box. We have two Bengals who are approximately 2lbs difference in weight, the App allows you to use the correct name with the weight of the cat. I receive updates during the day on both and a summary report in the evening. It’s like having a full time assistant when we’re out for the day. The cats seem to love it and who doesn’t love a happy cat? The unit is simple to clean and the cat litter is easy to use… no dust and very little litter sometimes outside the box and matt provided. The unit is smaller then the last one we had which fits easily in smaller places… there is not enough room in the inside to play (they enter, take care of business and after departing ….the unit cleans automatically) so . Healthy for all of us. Highly Recommend this unit if you’re shopping for an automatic litter box.
