Useless app.....won’t upgrade
While this app was ok, nothing flash, it did load in a reasonable amount of time. The last few months it has been getting progressively slower.
A new development....I went to log in, then required to update which is taking far longer than it really should. How can an international bank have such a useless app? It’s not like your customers can go into a branch. As such, customers deserve a far better online experience. Failing that, bring branches back and hire people.
I have used other banks online services, and not only are they quick and user friendly, they actually work.
As of the end of me writing this review, I’m still waiting for the update to complete. Very poor customer service there.

Will not recommend
I’m totally unsure how a bank like this in this modern era can actually survive and withhold its customers. Zero customer service, useless app...etc. It takes 3 days to speak to a customer service officer- poorly connected in the Phillipines, and not even getting a straight answer! I used their credit card solely for the Emirates awards programme, but with the absence of travel in the covid era, I cannot justify paying a high fee on such credit card, and perhaps should just stick with my bank! I’m surprised I have stuck with them for such a long time!
App - errors out and says try later. Seems stable now.
Update:
Deleting and reinstalling the App many times on old and new phone has finally made it stable. I have now used it three times without error since leaving this review. Something was not right. It seems like something was corrupt. Star rating updated also.

As indicated on the title, can not use this app without error. Why ? It can’t be that hard to make a stable app. Comm Bank’s App works first time every time. Citibank I spend hours trying to pay bills every time. It takes multiple attempts every time to login. I thought it was my old phone, but upgrading from an iPhone 6 to an iPhone 13 has not fixed the problem. Once upon a time banking was easy and straight forward. Login , check balance, pay bills all on one session. That’s a pipe dream. Get the app fixed.
