Ratings and Reviews
Clunky, dated design
The app feels clunky to use and doesn’t support the latest iOS design guidelines.
It doesn’t support biometrics, instead relying on an inferior PIN.
The card UI looks terrible, but what’s worse is I can’t do anything with the cards. They’re just… there. I can’t add them to Apple Wallet. There’s no digital interaction or interaction, so I can’t present these anywhere to use them. They’re really just a picture of what I’m forced to carry in my otherwise unnecessary physical wallet. Take a look at Victoria’s far superior WWCC for a great example of how to support digital cards, even if they don’t integrate into the device’s digital wallet.
Oddly, the MyGov app also provides some of the same digital cards, but does support electronic verification so it seems like that can be used as a physical card replacement. That app also supports biometrics… you would think both apps were developed by different organisations, but… no, they’re made by the same company! 🤷🤔
I feel everyone’s pain!
I have joint account with my wife, on the card she is 1 I am 2, do you think it would be simple enough to be able to log in and download both of our Covid 19 certificates, I managed to get mine after 3 days of talking to Medicare I still don’t have my wife’s certificate, same old story go to myGov, they tell me go to Medicare, I feel like a tennis ball.
Why can’t I just simply log on and get both certificates, we have a joint card we have been married 40 years , my wife has no email address we have one we have shared since computer birth, we don’t want any other email addresses, why is it so hard do do the most simplest request. We have been told by Medicare to come to the office to ask for a hard copy, they can’t email me this information even then they can only give me a hard copy.
MEDICARE YOU ARE A DISGRACE TO THE COMPUTER RACE FOLLOWED BY MYGOV AND CENTER LINK YOU ALL NEED REEDUCATING TO HOW A REAL EFFICIENT BUSINESS RUNS.
Don’t try to use computers if you don’t know what you are doing.
Unclear
I’d say the reason you guys are backed up is because the Medicare app doesn’t show claim progress statuses, so we don’t even know if the claim we’ve recently submitted has even been submitted into the system, let alone whether it’s been looked at. As far as I can see my claim hasn’t gone through because it doesn’t show up in claims history or anywhere else. Some of my past experiences with government agencies tells me that the systems fail all very often and it created bigger headaches, especially when the apps are so limited and the phone lines are backed up and manned by undertrained and depressed staff
