The lastest version is great, particularly love the ability to mark all as taken. Improvements:I don’t need “6 notifications for my individual morning meds”, I just need to be reminded that I need to take “morning meds”It would also be great if the reminder could be:1. More intrusive 2. Able to be (repeatedly) slept until marked as taken. As someone with ADHD, that is reliant on my meds for this and a couple of other life threatening conditions, I nice quiet notification that doesn’t allow me to sleep until I am able to take my meds, means I often miss my meds. I have had to set clock reminders to support this app… which means one of them is redundant. Defects (in my opinion)1. Non-prescriptionThis is a critical one for me. I can no longer add non-prescription meds myself. So I no longer get reminders to take (or buy) them. Aspirin - a critical part of my treatment for high blood pressure… can’t be added?Vitamins to support my health issues… can’t be added. 2. Script remindersChemist warehouse was unable to supply one of my scripts, so they sent me elsewhere. I am being constantly reminded that I have no supply… but I do, but I can’t acknowledge this. 3. Location specificWhile I’m a loyal customer to my local chemist warehouse, locking the app to one store is so very frustrating. Let me select the store at time of placing order, and carry the app between stores when I move location.

It’s definitely handy to submit an order in advance so you don’t need to wait around in the pharmacy, however it’s pretty clear the CW app isn’t consistently considered by their staff. I’ve had scripts fail to appear in the app after being added. I’ve had orders not dispensed because the pharmacist had a question but failed to ask it via the app. If you ask a question or add a comment to an order it doesn’t appear possible to see that you did so. Also for some reason some scripts added electronically end up appearing to be re-added with a pharmacist as the prescriber rather than the GP. And to top it off, the “remaining supply” cannot be adjusted, so whether the GP changed the dose, or the cat weed on your pills you keep receiving reminders to refill a script at entirely the wrong times. My previous-to-latest order still shows “awaiting pickup” in the app despite my needing to ask them in-store why it hadn’t been filled two days after ordering, and walking out with it after waiting and paying. Wish me luck.

For medications this app is great. The online shopping aspect has the app however, is constantly crashing, as well as it doesn’t give you an option of using afterpay to pay for orders as you have online, it just submits it and you pay in store. There was no warning of this, or option to do it a different way (and I googled it and there was no info that this was how online ordering in the app differed from online), so that was a bit frustrating. It would also be good to see all products in one view, where as if you click shampoo, you then have to click the brand and then it will show you only those, not allowing you to view others and do a price compare etc. it would also be very useful if you could shop off the catalogue also, so you know you’re getting a good deal on things.

I’ve been using previous versions of this app for years to order medications. Until the last version it was great. The last version made it difficult to keep track of scripts that weren’t currently being used, as it kept unused and being used scripts together, all with the label ‘active’ if they were within the usable time frame. As a result I would think there were scripts to use when in actuality I had none left. Even the chemist found this really challenging. But despite that, at least I could order meds. The current incarnation won’t even let me do that. In fact, 90% of the time it won’t let me log into the medication part of the app. When it does, I can select the scripts I want refilled, and it says they’re in a cart, but I have no access to said cart, and nowhere can I ask to submit the scripts to be filled. I have loaded, deleted, and reloaded the app (with phone hard restarts) many, many times with no improvement. So frustration 100%, usefulness 0%. I’d leave 0 stars if I could.
