Finally hitting the mark!

I’ve been using the Woolworths rewards app right since the start. It seemed a little sluggish with the first few iterations and very light on updates across the years, and then all of a sudden. Bam! Woolies finally invests some time and money into the app and have tweaked it to a level that I believe is highly functional, user friendly, responsive to the user in a timely manner and packed with features.Being able to see all my offers in the one place and boost one or all, as well as track what is currently available is great. The added extras of targeted boost points is also a big draw card to ensure you check back regularly and the most out of your membership. More recently, the addition of the one scan store pay payment option is by farTHE biggest winner for me.No more fumbling for your membership card (or if you’re like me, scan you digital card) and then having to pop out the wallet to find the keycard (or make a digital payment separately). It’s all in one. One QR scan before you even start, then put the phone/wallet away and when you’re done scanning, click pay and voila. Out pops your receipt (or direct to your phone if you love the environment) and you’re away. Saves so much time!On the receipts, being able to track your receipts is great. I love this to track past purchases and specials etc.Woolworths rewards app is finally on the money! Get on it.

Appalling Hoyts App
I have had to contact “help & support” 4 times over a 10 day period, only to revive no help or support! The app continuously crashes, there’s no workflow systems in place so the last operator can see or follow up on previous correspondence. They’re unable to find customers complaint/ concerns because they are unable to see last chat. The amount of time you have to sit in the app or call to contact rewards is ridiculous, just to claim missing points. I filled in 2 seperate claim forms for missing points only to find out from chatting to help and support that they couldn’t locate my forms. It’s just a waste of time and extremely time consuming process for the simplest of tasks. Flybuys have a great system where consumers can return to the retailer with receipt, within 7 days to scan your card and claim missing points on your shop. IT JUST MAKES SENSE- WOOLWORTHS REWARDS - You should take a page out of flybuys customer care book and learn from it! Also whilst I’m here I have extreme security concerns, especially with all the data breaches here in Australia providing ALL of my private/ personal details in a chat environment with overseas call centres only to be cut off each time! Who then has access to these details.. just to claim points or speak to an operator. You really need to pick up your game WOOLWORTHS REWARDS!!!!

Appalling Hoyts App

I have had to contact “help & support” 4 times over a 10 day period, only to revive no help or support! Disappointed at the Closure of our Local Woolworths Deli

Keep it Honest to Benefit All
After Coles closed their Pelican Waters delicatessen it seemed that Woolworths were a lot more strategic in their thinking by retaining a deli to service their loyal customers. At the time that Coles closed their deli there was a substantial swing towards Woolworths as Pelican Waters locals sought to seek their Woolies Worth with the opportunity to purchase fresh produce from the deli. Now it seems that Woolies would rather put profit ahead of service with the closure of our local deli. Of course they will represent that we can travel to Caloundra to shop fresh but if all they can offer is pre packaged small goods then you might as well attend Aldi where you can access prepackaged small goods at 30-40 percent less. Of course Aldi doesn’t fund a loyalty program, but what sense is there in loyalty to Woolworths when they treat their customers with contempt. Can’t wait for IGA to open in Pelican Waters with their quality delicatessen offerings. Shame on Woolworths management for not having the courage to go the long term with Pelican Waters. There is extensive development going on at the Golf Course and Pelican Waters island. So now we are back to choosing between two mediocre offerings following this shameful decision.

This local metro in my are which you can see I visit every single day it’s open offer free coffee with every $30 dollar shop, which is amazing and we love it! What we don’t love is that the staff only open the cafe when they feel like it. No consistent time and service is often hit and miss depending on who serves you. This is a treat especially for all the pensioners who live in the street. I am sending you this review because it has happened so many times before. Today they said the operator was not in yet! Is she late? Can’t she be bothered? Unfortunately we had a girl making one for herself and refused two regular customers just two coffees while three staff members walked around with theirs. It does actually cost us $30 a coffee unless we pay at the counter, so it’s never really free. The manager half heartedly agreed but never asked anyone to make it. For the foreseeable future I will definitely shop elsewhere even though we have at least still 5 coffee credits and $250 saved for Christmas. Very Very Disappointing from our regular store to its regular daily customers. If you can’t keep your offers, don’t offer them. Former Safeway shopper. Claudia Fernandez
