The doctor called at the specified time and I had lots of times to choose from. I did miss my first appt as I had booked on my iPad and was waiting at work on my iPhone (you’d kind of the app would sync but it didn’t). I couldn’t access the call on my phone so unfortunately missed the appt. this time I booked on my phone and all went smoothly. It could do with an info page to tell you how the call will work and maybe a demonstration video (perhaps there is one and I’ve missed it). Great app 😊
This app is more miserable than many illnesses
Totally useless. While trying to make appointment it kept saying none available as I scrolled through various times. Tried next day scrolling different times. Called support and they said system was at capacity with first free slots the two days away. After putting in date it came up with appointments but there has to be better design than making people guess what date first available slot is on.
As far as the appointment itself, never happened. I logged in but it never was picked up. My wife received a phone call on her Mobil from the GP saying he was having trouble loading the video call. I was still waiting on my iPad for an answer. The support line only works weekdays during business hours so good luck using the touted out of hours service, you’re on your on.
Oh, the one part of the app that does seem to work as advertised is the part that tracks the number of included appointments for the service. It deducted the appointment I never had from my balance.
Over laborious registration process
Despite having 4 other people named on my policy this app require me to enter home addresses and GP details for all of my children with no option to simply state that they’re the same details of my own. I also can’t add my wife to my account even though she’s on the same policy. As if this wasn’t enough I then log onto my email account and find that I have to verify each of my children’s details, well not really verify them, but type them all in again, and because the email request doesn’t state which child the email corresponds to I have no way of telling which child’s details I have to enter! On top of this you have to upload a copy of your child’s birth certificate. The site wouldn’t accept a jpeg file so at this point, having wasted 40 minutes of my life I gave up. The process is all a bit 1997 and needs addressing.

Thanks for your feedback and I'm sorry to hear of your frustrations regarding the app. The Digital GP app is completely separate to your PMI policy, and so it is necessary to set up any children under 16 from scratch. I can confirm that your wife is able to set up her own profile using the registration process in your invitation email.
