Description
*You must own a Synology NAS to run this app. To get the full features of DS cloud, the version of the Cloud Station running on your DiskStation should be 4.0 and above. Versions starting from 2.10.4 would only support iOS 8 and onward*
DS cloud is the mobile counterpart of Cloud Station on iOS devices. You can select the folders on your DiskStation that you wish to sync to your mobile devices, and make them available for offline viewing anywhere you go. DS cloud also allows you to decide how you'd like to sync: you can set the maximum file size as well as the types of file you wish to sync for each folder.

This app has been updated by Apple to display the Apple Watch app icon.
1. Updated Synology's terms and conditions for EU data privacy compliance.
2. Optimized the compatibility with iPhone X and iOS 11.
3. Terminated the support for the built-in PDF editor. Users can still use third-party apps (e.g., Adobe Acrobat Reader) to smoothly edit PDF files and save them to DS cloud.
4. Minor bug fixes.
Ratings and Reviews
Does the job but could be better
This app works ok for syncing files between devices and your Synology. However it’s limited functionality means you can’t edit files and annotate pdf’s from within the app and sync back again. Instead you have to open any files in a third party app, make any changes and export back in to DS Cloud. I understand this functionality was there in a past version. Why can’t we have this functionality back again?
Great but could be even better
Does the job but on an iPad Pro (Gen 2) 10.5” it doesn’t scale very well at all, the text labels all overlap and the actual login screen isn’t aligned properly. Would be nice to get an update to fix this! Thanks anyway, Synology will always be top dog for me :)
What happened to support?
I can access my account. I can see previous tickets BUT that is all that I can do. This is of limited use. I have changed my password as you do but can find no way to update my credentials in the Cloud app. Not happy. Pressed everything so far other than uninstall
