A lot better now with this new app around my sound bar still room for more improvements like only signing in once without extra security on for your sound bar and your account as it took me quite a long time before I managed to use SmartThings again are you even look for a new app but now hopefully this will be or is sorted so so I give it the stars. I give it Samsung SmartThings thanks for allowing me to enjoy my music and continue whether an old or new models as it cost a lot of money these days please improve more and continue to update so we can all enjoy the sound at no extra cost thanks again, I will continue to use SmartThings and to enjoy my enjoyment. This is why I enjoy the SmartThings app there’s nothing I dislike but as you know there’s always move for improvement. Thanks again. I’ll give you four stars of five. I always leave one star for improvement a user.
One of the worst implementations of an IoT ecosystem ever, and it is getting worse

Total inconsistency between the SmartThings app, Samsung cloud and the tv device, tv is on a network with an account phone is on the same network yet the app interrogates the tv and refuses to accept the tv is on the network that the tv says it is no support for the app, utter rubbish Samsung clearly don’t have the capability to test their wide area and cloud systems yet they lock you into an eco system that fails time and time again, the result is you are prevented from using many of the features that presumably would be quite nice to have like using the phone as a remote, there are probably more yet after 30 years in IT I can not go through the pain of waiting for Samsung to get their act together there have been three upgrades to the app and tv since I started trying to get this darn app to connect to the tv and it doesn’t it took 4 months to renew an annual subscription to frame pictures and, and, and…. If you have not yet messed up and bought a Samsung device don’t I wont recommend a better option but I can tell you if you use smart things with a Samsung frame tv Your in for a pile of frustration!

Why with this app you have the convenience of setting a preset washing machine routine in just 10 minutes after loading. Why have a clunky dial that works immediately when you can wait 5 minutes for a pointless app download that changes nothing, and then restart your washing machine 3 times to get it to connect to the Wi-Fi to instruct something that could have been done with a dial in seconds. Honestly, if this worked at all well it could be handy, but I have to pre plan my washing to download the latest update (non optional) and the likelihood of it connecting first time is from 4 years of experience about 1 in 3 times. And the washing machine is 5 meters from the router. It genuine;y is the most pointless, cumbersome, over engineered app that I have ever seen. The developers should be ashamed for making a clunky interface that evidently is so flawed that it needs an update every other week just to keep it incompetently grating along with bugs and flaws and a multitude of problems. Thank god I don’t have children or other things to deal with at the same time, or the washing machine would have been at the top the same day

Great washing machine does everything it says it does and reminds you the clean it too. However the bending down and draining and cleaning the filter is about as awful as it always was. It’s not the doing it’s my bad back and my husband’s too. He’s 77 and I’m 60 both with chronic back issues. Of course the draining and filter are both close to the floor. If anything could be better it’s this but otherwise it’s a five star all the way.We love the app as it has extra washing cycles that make washing a breeze. And the extra plus of turning itself off when a cycle is done. Of course Samsung have other ways to connect to their app our TV is also a Samsung and connected seamlessly to their app same app as my washing machines. We may try the lights next! Fun with tech at our age lol ;)
