Shame about the restaurant
Been here 3 ttimes first time amazing second time not so good waited so long for food third time waited long time for food, and I mean a long time, and then when it turned up my wifes steak was cold and chewy, so it had to go back for a new one, which then meant we all eat at different times there were other people complaining as well sorry to say, but this really isn’t good enough for such a expensive restaurant we have eaten many times at the plymouth Miller and Carter and it has always been amazing. Great service great food, great staff, it’s only because we live in Tiverton that we use the Taunton one instead of the hour drive to Plymouth but it will definitely be worth the drive to Plymouth rather thanusing the Taunton Miller and Carter, you need to know these things so that you can get sorted out

Having seen varying reviews of the newest recruit to the M & C family and being used to the Burseldon and Poole restaurants we came with faith and trust that Great Salterns would not disappoint. From when we walked in the door to a lovely welcome, our super waitress Julie who was very knowledgeable to the absolutely superb food which we chose to have cooked on chefs recommendation everything was on point.The wait was not long at all, the service by Julie was wonderful the food was just sublime.Everything spotless and really comfortable chairs which really do make a dining experience more pleasurable.I am sorry for those that have not had such a good experience but I would encourage them to give it another chance .

Another fantastic meal

We just visited today and yet again everything was perfect. The food was superb, the staff are brilliant and the surroundings were really pleasant and comfortable. We use this restaurant about every six weeks and are never disappointed. Today I treated myself to a 16oz Ribeye cooked medium. The whole Mal was brilliant and the steak was cooked to perfection. Our server who was from Krakow she was so friendly, helpful and cheery which was so nice. I can’t commend her enough. Thank you for yet another memorable visit. See you soon.

We just visited today and yet again everything was perfect. The food was superb, the staff are brilliant and the surroundings were really pleasant and comfortable.
