This has most of the features that more well known apps have but has a fantastic monthly subscription and the one off lifetime offer is a steal. I am especially pleased with the cross platform sync to Windows which this app is faultless at. Updates are immediate and in this respect it crushes the competition. I also love the templates with substitutions making the ability to create daily notes a breeze. I like the way note linking is implemented with back-links in the side column but appreciate that approach won’t be for everyone. The only wish would be that it saved in a plain text format but as I intend on sticking with this and there is backups and export I will live that, especially as the Windows app is great and I won’t be using an alternative editor. I almost wish that they would charge a little more as that would give me some confidence in the ongoing development. I have rambled on far more than I ever have for an App Store application which you can take as an indication of how impressive I think this is.

I have been using this app for a few weeks now and am very impressed. This is not one of the best known notes apps, but it is one of the best - and I have tried a lot. It is cross-platform, fast, and syncs well. The user interface is well thought-through and there is a minimal learning curve. There are enough formatting options, and plenty of flexibility for organising notes. Notes can be placed in more than one notebook, and tags can be used as well. Bi-directional links can be added between notes. There is a degree of security but the developers advise against using the app for private information like passwords. The one improvement I would welcome is greater security.

This app looks nice and has some good features including tables and different-coloured highlights, I especially love that you can choose a custom order for notebooks and notes, and turn off the time stamps which are an annoyance in every other app basically. I might consider switching from the much more established notes app I use now, but a few things stopped me. Firstly, it doesn’t appear on the share sheet so you can’t send links or content directly to the app. And secondly, you can’t edit the display text of a URL. So if you want to add a link to a webpage, you have to type in the text you want, highlight it and add the link - and then you can’t edit it again. It would be great if you fixed this because it makes it too maddening to use at the moment sadly.

This is my start and end of the day app. I write my list of stuff I need to do, some affirmation and mixed thoughts in the morning and before bed I write similar to a diary and some good thoughts to end the day. I love that I have it all in one place rather than 3 different apps. I also like that you can organise it into different notes, so I got my daily as I mentioned on top and then a note section for example lists of things I want to try like movies or restaurants. It’s easy to organise like real a real note book but it keeps it neat and tidy, which I love as it makes me feel more organised.
