I like this, I actually use it more than some of my other editors on my iPhone X. There are problems and flaws, but it is very very easy to use for the editing side of things. Sadly I expected MORE updates and AI-themes and enhancements as they are pretty lame and far too short…. and also the ability to specify which clip goes where and specify which ‘section’ of the clip is used in the AI editor is a serious mistake by DJI(HINT - a monthly update of a new AI theme would be really promotional of you guys at DJI)FAULT: having spent time on a longer cut of edits in the pro edit (not the AI) and previously saved it…. when you exit again later without saving (maybe you were not happy with your edits) it should do JUST THAT … it guess what… it exits without saving but actually DELETES your whole edit work.. GONE!…. BYEBYE! All work deleted…. No warning and no confirmation question!…. Just EXIT and all your work gone! CRAZY!But…. I like this app a lot, just fix some of the silly mistakes!

My first Review received absolutely No Response from the Developers I’m now attempting a second review It’s quite a useless piece of kit when it comes to actually recording and using on the Fly !By the time you have rid yourself of those extremely annoying the Video Advertising ( disguised as Tutorials ) the Shot you are wanting is Long Gone ! It’s an utter mess ! Unless you are happy to video you and your airhead friends skateboarding in some park and spend ages setting up the Shot ! The various Auto features are not easily accessible without trawling through a Multitude of Settings ! Its functionality with iPhone could be considered as reasonable but hardly groundbreaking! It’s an absolute nightmare to Navigate ! Unless of course you’re wanting to video yourselves skateboarding of a cliff and posting the results on the myriad of suicidalWebsites to demonstrate how foolish and weak you are. This is definitely not a purchase I am happy with and will offer it for free at a Boot Sale. Finally should you wish to engage in professional and proper Video Production etc invest in the correct equipment for such a purpose and do not be tempted to assume you’re much vaunted iPhone is suitable for this application!It isn’t ! And in all honesty is an utter waste of space, time and Money Get a proper Video Camera with limited bells and whistles you will achieve far better results than what’s offered on this App it’s an utter Con ! And pretty useless as Video Recording App I’ve managed to off load it to another individual who imagines him/herself as Ridley Scott Good Luck 👍

I really like the DJI mimo app because it makes it easier to gain access to your recorded content. You don’t have to take the SD card to view or transfer your content. You can just have the preview and if you like it, you could just save it and then transfer it to your computer, which is very convenient for me being I use a Mac and also you get to have the preview on the bigger screen than the 2 inch display which you know it’s real good in my opinion plus you could also control the gimbal and have a preview while you’re shooting on the app which is a really good feature to have

Come on DJI, your story modes are dreadful and so limited, GoPro’s is so much more comprehensive. I do not want your DJI logo on my creations and I want the option to turn off the Japanese text on a few of the story modes - for goodness sake they are lame. I don’t feel that I should be advertising your product on my own creations after paying £329 for the device - come on, you promised to let us turn off the logo and text on your forum ages ago - it should never have been there in the first place, it’s blatant advertising which is unwanted - we should be able to add our own logo! Love the product itself but dislike being forced to show your logo when using story mode. Also when using Osmo Mobile 3 why on earth can’t we shoot with a flat colour profile? It’s possible as FilmicPro does it. Also why no 2.7k mode?
