Log a set with one tap, let your weights progress automatically, and train from your Apple Watch. New: build programs with Apple Intelligence, ChatGPT or Claude.
Liftin' is the gym tracker for people who lift. Log a set with one tap, let your weights progress automatically, and build the program you want with AI, on iPhone, iPad, Mac and Apple Watch.
TRACK WITH ONE TAP
• A clean workout screen that puts your next set front and center. Log it, let the rest timer run, move on.
• Live Activity and widgets keep the current set and the rest timer on your Lock Screen.
• 300+ exercises with illustrations, plus your own custom exercises.
• Plate calculator, warmup sets, supersets, notes, and a rest timer that follows you to the watch.
PROGRESS AUTOMATICALLY
• Set a progression rule per exercise and Liftin' adjusts the weights from your results: linear progression, 5/3/1 training max cycles, double progression, deloads.
• Start from a built-in program: StrongLifts 5x5, Wendlers 5/3/1, nSuns, GZCLP, Push Pull Legs, Upper/Lower, PHUL and Full Body. Or build your own from scratch.
• Charts for every exercise, estimated one rep max, volume, body measurements and progress photos, plus a calendar of your training.
AI THAT KNOWS YOUR TRAINING
• Describe the workout or program you want in your own words and Liftin' generates it with Apple Intelligence.
• Liftin' in ChatGPT and Claude: ask how your bench press is progressing, add 2.5 kg to every deadlift set next week, or have a 3-day strength program built, from the assistant you already use. Works with any MCP client.
APPLE WATCH
• Track a whole workout from the watch alone, or mirror the workout running on your iPhone live on your wrist.
• Heart rate and workouts go to Apple Health and fill your rings.
INTEGRATIONS
• Apple Health and Strava: your strength workouts land where the rest of your training lives.
• Import your history from Hevy. Export everything as CSV whenever you want.
• iCloud sync keeps iPhone, iPad and Mac on the same page.
LIFTIN' UNLIMITED
Liftin' is free for up to five workouts a month. Liftin' Unlimited removes the limit and unlocks all progress charts and progress photos, as a yearly or monthly subscription with a free trial, or as a one-time lifetime purchase. Current prices are shown in the app.
Payment is charged to your Apple Account when you confirm the purchase. A subscription renews automatically unless it is cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, and your account is charged for the renewal within 24 hours before that period ends. You can manage and cancel your subscriptions in your App Store account settings after purchase.

I've tried many apps but I always come back to liftin, it might be a bit pricey, and might not have as many features as other apps, but it works perfectly and it has everything that you need. Also it feels like it was made by apple (in a good way). The only things that might need some work in my opinion is the workout selection tap, changing between splits, It doesn't feel very fluid and straight forward, the whole tab feels a bit "messy". Also I don't know if this a only me problem, but let's say I choose to do a substitute exercise instead of the main one, the next workout when I choose it again it doesn't show me how many reps and kilos I did like the main one, instead I have to press on history.Great app tho, thank you so much for the great work, and really appreciate the expansion of the experience collection as the new animations!

Best app for progressive overload and customised workouts!
anonymouscritique
Pro: fantastic for progressive overload (once you figure out the right settings) rest timer, automatic progression (when it works) and setting weight relative to 1RM are a godsend. Apple watch app is also very solid. You do need to dedicate some time to personalising your settings (machine weight increments, automatic progression increments, default warm up weights) but once done, the app is perfect. Cons: Should have templates for progressive overload, as it's time consuming to figure out and takes a while to set up for all your exercises. The app also needs to make clear the differences between adding exercises to the master plan, and adding them only for that day's plan. At first got very confused when I would add exercises only for them to immediately disappear from my plan.

Thank you for the review and feedback! You can change the weight increments to 0.25, its done per equipment and you can find it in Settings > Equipment.2, 3 and 4 I will put on my list of features to explore. Really good ideas! If anything else comes to mind let me know at feedback@liftinapp.co.— Valter
An app for life

Any fitness enthusiast will share my pain in trying hundreds of different workout tracking apps to find them to be gimmicky, restrictive, and unintuitive. Since I downloaded this app, I’ve never looked back. It’s everything I was looking for - a no frills straightforward workout tracker that does everything I ask of it. It has a sleek easy to use design. It lets me create unlimited workout plans and exercised. It tracks my progressive overload. It syncs with other apps and apple watch etc. It does everything a fitness app is supposed to do and doesn’t try to be something it’s not. I can’t understate the impact this app has had on my health. I’ve renewed my subscription for a third year and I hope to never use another workout tracking app again.

This is my second review of this app ive been using it for years now, at first it was complicated. Now I couldn’t go to the gym without it. Even though its a one time life payment. The development keeps coming with no extra hidden payments, recently Advanced training systems have been added ie drop sets.I have definitely had my moneys worth i hope more ATS become available or tracking reps to fail, tracking eccentric only or single side isolation, TUT count down, GVT…. I know i can do most of this with the notes or in my head just thought id put it out there.Thank you very much i have learned alot about my self from this app
