This is a video editing app that works with iOS VoiceOver! I can’t quite believe I am writing those words. I don’t know if this is the first third-party video editing app that appears to have taken the access needs of visually impaired users seriously, but it is a pretty rare example, and one that is appreciated by me at least. How refreshing to have buttons correctly labelled, and much of the functionality (or at least much the functionality that I have tried so far) usable with a screen reader as it is without.That’s not to say that it is Perfect. I haven’t yet worked out how to trim video tracks rather than splitting them and deleting the excess, and I also can’t find a way of changing clip transitions using VoiceOver. I’m prepared to put these down to the fact that I’ve been using the app for all of about half an hour so far , and they really don’t detract from the fact that the developers of this app have clearly taken accessibility seriously. I hope others will learn from this example.

A Very Good Mobile Version

This is ace. A very efficient app and it’s actually very easy to edit videos on the go and also add detail as you would on the desktop version. It’s particularly useful for content creators like me who don’t like the limitations of applications like CapCut and having an Adobe licence, it makes sense I use the premiere platform with its greater array of features. However, my only gripe which I’m sure will be developed, is the fact you can’t clear cached deleted data from the app, or anywhere (at least I haven’t found) on your phone. This means many of my projects (usually quite high storage +/-10gb) remain as storage capacity the app is using. I have had to delete/reinstall the app to fully clear the app’s documents and data as deleting the project only frees up a gb or two.CapCut is an older application so it’s obviously been developed for more time, however you can delete from the ‘trash’ after deleting a project on that application. This would be a useful feature to have on this app. It’s actually needed, not just useful. Overall, very useful and I will be using and hoping for this development soon!
Bug in key frames.

There is a major issue with key frames. I’ll try to explain. When I create key frames all seems to work well when trying to keep and object “in frame” by moving it around. But once I introduce zoom (by pinching) the zoom is literally all over the place and the previous key frames lose their zoom position. If I delete the last key frame then the previous ones regain their zoom. I hope it makes sense. It needs looking at.

Hi Andy, sorry to hear you are getting this error. Firefly does not allow usage of certain images. If your image contains a child or shows too much skin, for example, you will receive an error and won't be able to upload it. Fundamental error - no LUT support

This really could have been good and for people that just use the standard camera app and just want to get a quick video out then it’s passable. However, if you are a content creator the omission of LUT support cripples this app. Want a certain look or colour grade for all your videos, maybe you are a big Teal and Orange fan or want to create a constant look for all your content. Nope - you have to start from scratch on every project. Want to import log footage from other cameras - well forget that idea as you would have to grade each clip from each different camera separately- no good having an ‘apply to all’ for that! This app is useless for people who care about their footage and it’s such a basic feature that is missing. Come on Adobe - I pay big money every month for your Creative Cloud Pro yet you leave out a major feature in the mobile app - way more important than silly AI sound effects and fake Firefly generated nonsense that still can’t even do text! Expected more from a company like you. Add LUT support and you’ve got a half decent app that could be useful.
