"Sign up and get a £1 fuel reward when you join Shell GO+
With Shell GO+ we count your visits – this is each time you spend £10+ on fuel or £2+ in the shop.
Every 10th visit, you’ll get money off fuel. As well as savings and rewards on drinks and food. Join on the Shell app, then scan your Shell GO+ digital card whenever you make a purchase.
For you:
● 10% savings across hot drinks (including Costa Express).
● 10% saving across the deli by Shell food range.
● Free surprises and treats when you least expect them!
● Opt-in to the CO2 Offset programme and have your carbon emissions on your fuel purchases offset for you by Shell.

Payments make easy – Pay at Pump on your mobile
Now you can pay for your fuel without leaving your vehicle. It's a quick and secure way to pay that’s available at most Shell stations.
How it works:
● Enter and confirm the pump number on the app
● Choose how you will pay and select if you have any fuel rewards
● Wait for the 'Start Fuelling' message
● Fill up with fuel and then GO – it’s as easy as that with the Pay at Pump feature
You’ll be able to see any payments you’ve made from the Shell app, so it’s easy to keep track of your outGOings.
Find a station that has what you need
Our Shell app Station Locator lets you find petrol stations where you need them, with the products and services you want.
Whether it’s a specific product (like Shell v-Power Diesel, Shell Hydrogen, Shell v-Power unleaded), or a service (car wash, ATM, disability assistance, electric vehicle charging, Waitrose shop, Pay at pump), you can narrow down to the stations that suit you and see when they’re open.
Carbon offset programme
You have the opportunity to offset your carbon by protecting and replanting forests. Simply join the Shell GO+ rewards programme, opt in to the carbon offset programme the via the Shell app and scan the Shell GO+ app when you purchase fuel. The carbon emissions from the fuel purchases will then be offset for you by Shell. From 24th April 2023 we'll be asking for a small contribution of only 1.5 pence per litre extra during each fill up. Just remember to scan your Shell GO+ card when you purchase your fuel. We will calculate the lifecycle CO2 emission rates from your fuel purchases and buy and retire appropriate amount of carbon credits that protect and restore nature.

Great app & great fuel!
I’ve been using Shell fuel for as long as I can remember. I also swear by V-Power as well - from what I’ve been told by techs at BMW when I worked there the fuel in the long run will pay for itself. Yes it’s more expensive at the pump but it will in almost all cases give you better MPG than standard fuel & in the long term keep the inside of your engine injectors etc, far cleaner thus running like new and keeping the repairs to a minimum too. Also depending on the car, but again in most cases, it will have a befit to performance as well. I now drive a petrol car & but had diesels before & I’ve noticed the benefit to both. I’ve converted most people I know over to it & they ALL agree it improves both performance & economy plus the benefit of staying as clean inside as possible it’s a win, win, WIN situation! Obviously if you drive it harder because you notice the improved performance you can’t expect to gain better consumption as well! Back to the app...it has loads of discounts for the shop inc Costa coffee & Jamie Oliver food plus sometimes free things like a bag of crisps, Costa coffee, sweets so if you use shell, get this app, you’d be mad not too!

Changes do not reward loyalty
The new App does not take into account visits or fuelling when paying using the App rather than going in to pay. My last two visits and fuelling have not been reflected on the ‘wheel’.
I have also tried using fuel vouchers and they only work if you pay in store. The final point is that as a loyal customer of a few years who regularly fuels Shell V-power diesel for £50+ at least every 8 days, I don’t feel I get rewarded properly for loyalty. The previous reward system rewarded customers for type of fuel and amount of fuel bought. This new reward system is based on visits with a minimum visit being £20. It does not take into account people who regularly purchase more high cost fuel. I will no longer purchase Shell and opt for other fuels that are of the same quality and cost less.

Problematic
This app and system are probably great for most people but if you have a shell fuel card then it's not worth the hassle.
You can scan to earn rewards when paying with a fuel card, but, if any of the rewards are activated in the app then when you try to use the fuel card after scanning the app the fuel card won't work. And now, even offers I don't have in the app are blocking the fuel card. Today i filled up, scanned the app, and the card wouldn't work because there was a discount on the till, but when I checked the app the discount doesn't appear at all.
As well as blocking the fuel card from working, this is also a pain because it means you can't claim the offers. Not only can you not use the savings with a fuel card but you can't claim other rewards either, such as free coffee or crisps.
Now I know what you're thinking.. can't I just put them through separately? Well no, because the app can only be scanned once every 30 minutes or something like that. So if you fill up £100 with fuel card and buy a drink, and have free crisps offer, to save on the drink and claim the crisps you have to lose out on the points from the £100 spend entirely. Does it matter? Yes, because the more you spend the more you save.
Honestly for the amount you save and the hassle it causes i'm thinking it'd be better to just do a few minutes overtime at work
