The Sky Kids App is available for Sky customers who have the Variety and Box Set Bundles (Family Bundle) or the Kids Pack. For access to Movies you will require the Sky Cinema subscription too.

Kids can create their own profile and choose their Sky buddy! Parental controls and age restrictions are in place to ensure age appropriate content, and Sleep Mode sets time limits on app usage.

It’s amazing but.....
I love watching sky kids watching the different movies and programmes also the games I could play them all day.
For the last week or so I click on sky kids and it’s loading and then a character pops up saying there is something not quite right. This has happened for the 6-7 days.
I don’t know what it is but I just want sky kids to work so I can get back to watching my Favourite programmes and films.
Autism friendly feature please
My 6 year old is on the autism spectrum loves the Sky Kids app and uses it often but has a fascination with the Play/Pause button specifically the noise attached to the button, she repeatedly taps the button to hear the noise which is annoying for all the family. The only option we have is to turn the volume on the tablet down completely which means she then can’t hear her show. I’m sure aren’t the only parents this frustrates so we would really appreciate if an option to turn of the button noises was added to parental settings or somewhere else, like turning the keypad tones off on a phone! Great app though, much loved in our house and this feature would just help our sanity a little bit more.

Reinstall from Scratch with iOS 11.3
This was a great app until Sky updated it. Now it crashes on launch. I had seen this on another app and it appears to be something with 11.3 iOS. I deleted the Sky Kids App and then rebooted my iPad and reinstalled the App from scratch. The App then worked. It is great for kids but even though you can now use it the EU you do need a good Wi-fi connection which is not always available when traveling. A feature to download and watch on the go would be a great addition.
