Transio
Live buses in Northern Ireland
Free · Designed for iPad. Not verified for macOS.
Know where your bus actually is.
Transio shows the buses really on the road across Northern Ireland, so you know yours is coming before you leave the house. Glider, Metro, Ulsterbus, Goldliner and Foyle Metro — all in one app.
**LIVE TRACKING**
Watch every bus move on the map. Not the timetable — the actual bus — with early and late running shown at every stop along the route.
**NEARBY**
Open the app and your nearest stops and next departures are already there, with live buses around you on the map.
**JOURNEY PLANNER**
Plan trips door to door with live departures, connections and walking legs. Compare options side by side and see exactly when to leave.
**ESTIMATED POSITIONS**
Feed gone quiet? Your bus doesn’t vanish. Transio keeps it moving, estimating its position from how the route actually runs, and clearly labels it as Estimated.
**TIMETABLES AND FAVOURITES**
View full timetables for every route, with your everyday stops and routes just one tap from the home screen.
**PRIVATE BY DESIGN**
No account. No sign-up. No email. Your location is only used while the app is open to find stops near you.
Light and dark themes. Free.
