Extensive long term review
So I have been using this ISP since very long time, how long well since May 2003 to be precise. yes it almost two decades. Back then it was “anar”and i hardly recall facing any issues related to connectivity after a decade or so Hathway took over, no major upgrade took place but Service in term of connectivity didn't degrade either and some time in 2018 the big daddy took over (pun intended) and even since then Hathway is on slippery slop downtown gradually increased for me 2019 it was almost 5%, in 2020 that rose to 10% and in 2021 it’s almost 15% yes my internet was down 10 time in past 7 months and they took on an average 3 days to resolve the issue that sums up to 85% of up time or 15 % downtime. So what changed, well few things that come to my notice. firstly they are highly understaffed and thats the reason why you won’t hear form them when you raise a complaint, secondly compromise in qualities of instruments and cables and for that management has to be blamed. so at the end of the day we have to accept that it is what it is or may be the big daddy want this company to die slowly so that his other company can grow, either way now is the time that we have to seriously considering striking out term “fair competition” from Indian legal system. Bottom line if you have an option to opt out, just opt out form R ecosystem and for rest of us wait till you get your turn to switch the boat until then lord may have mercy on us.
We had been using this service for past one and a half year without any issue but for the last two months the speed decreased exponentially. We had opted for a pack of 100 mbps and get somewhere between 5 to 7 mbps. Raised a ticket a week ago. No call back, no follow up and no resolution which is funny coz they will call you twice a day, everyday, when renewal is due from our end. Each time we called the customer care to cancel the service, the executives literally begged us to give them another chance and that they will solve it within 24 hours. Same story every day for the last 7 days. If you highly rely on internet to work from home or for your kids’ online classes then this is not the service provider for you. Please go to the competitors. Hathway does not take their paying customers seriously. We have finally raised a ticket to terminate our services on their faulty automated service menu and they haven’t acted upon that as well. (FYI - once you raise a termination request, they will not connect your call to the customer care. So if you don’t need their services anymore, you can go to hell for all they care). I generally opt for quarterly plans to avoid the hassle of recharging every month and my current plan expires after two and a half month but I can’t wait to hear their idiotic excuses for why they cannot give me my refund even if I won’t be using their connection anymore 😊

Currently i don't want to use the serivices of hathway so when my plan got over i didn't made any recharge, i got a call from them for recharge i clearly mdntioned that current i don't have use i will recharge it whenever i need but again i was getting the same calls from last 1.5 months i am really frustated with their beahaviour and questions in a day i get 10 calls from hatway from morning to evening, i am really fedup with them its my choice to make recharge or not but they are mentally touchering me by their calls from different numbers , i asked them to take the moderm back and disccont the connection but still no response and same calls even there is no customer care number of hatway, i suggest not to take hatway connection, if they had not done multiple calls daily i might recharged the connection according to my use because earliar i was using it but i dont want to recharge now and i will never recharege i am really frustrated with same types of multiple calls , i genuinely suggest not to take Hatway because when it come for service issues they donn't response and when i comes to recharge they frustate the customer there is no help by anyone no custome care number i really need a disconnection don't call me i have my works take your moderm and don't disturb me otherwise i will call in cyber cell.😡😡😡😡😡😡
