Fares are higher business standards are low...Ola lost its credibility..
As I am not happy with Ola but still taken out my precious time to write a review as I use to be one on the regular customer and loyal user of the service...when Ola started in India, was happy that we have got transportation with easy access and economical way to travel regularly. When Uber came in I was reluctant to use it while getting good service from Ola.
Suddenly there use to be high surge prices without any justification way too inconsiderate, unprofessional drivers, no response to on board issues, bad quality cars, ride cancellations, no customer interaction centre only automated responses..it’s was the time
Ola lost his connect with there customers not bothering what they are facing and I believe it happens with startups when there’s a gap for “customer first” vision.
As I have switched to Uber, they have certain challenges too but few pros are making me stick to it for a while now..
I don’t know what chances my review has to reach to Ola team, but they can make a come back if they believe in sustainability of business..

Hidden charges had to pay after the ride
After a long time I booked Ola cab for Mom, as I have already been cheated so many times in terms of fares, and l learned driving my own car. But this time I thought of giving it an another try because I was not available with mother, but unfortunately again I am extremely disappointed with their fares pricing. Every time Ola has some or the other outstanding charges which is added in your new ride, additionally they just show discounted coupons and offers but nothing gets applied and there’s no way to change the payment method, if UPI is not working I should be able to pay with my card but no, you are forced to pay in cash and what not? Sometimes your cash payment is also not reflected in your completed rides and eventually it is added in your outstanding payment so the next time if you want to book Ola you need to pay that outstanding amount. Have you guys started a loot in the name of a cab service??? Please work on your software system for the convenience of your customers/ passengers. There was too much hype for Ola Unfortunately you people failed to retain it.
I could see some people have given 5 stars rating but if you read their reviews they too are extremely dissatisfied and disappointed with your service and many of the users have given 1 star rating. What more you guys waiting for???
Increasing Canceling Rides Issue by Drivers
Initially when ola came to our city/country they won our hearts by giving good service, decent and well trained drivers, Maintained Cars and Very few times faced ride cancellation issue. But since a year, drivers have different attitude. Nowadays, When we book a ride, driver call us and ask first rudely (maximum times) “kidhar jhana hai?” When we disclose the destination, the 2nd question is “cash doge kya ola money?” 3rd question “aapko kitna fare dekha raha hai aap mein?” So basically they want their chosen destination else they will cancel the ride, it should be pain in cash else they will cancel the ride and main interest is kitna milega toh le ride else not interested. Have been facing this issue since many months. Whenever want to use cab service, ride cancellation is a routine. Cannot complete the ride until minimum 3 cancellation rides. So basically if i want to travel somewhere i have to keep margin of 30mins of this booking and cancellation rides issues. Also, they would wait for us to call after tired of waiting for 10-15mins and then they will inform that “behenji nahi aa raha, cancel karta hoon ride”. So basically this is their strategy to keep us wait and customer would be tired and cancel it on their own so customer gets charged and driver have reason that customer canceled it but ola doesn’t know that customer cancelled due to late coming/time issues.
