Yono Lite SBI is Mobile Banking Smart Phone application for SBI Customers in English, Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Gujarati, Punjabi, Bengali, Odia, Assamese, and Kashmiri languages.
Yono Lite is SBI’s retail internet banking-based application for your smartphones. A safe, convenient, and easy to use application with a host of features to help users manage your finances on the move.
Please complete the one-time registration process to start using the application.
New Registration process:
- A message will be shown on the screen regarding initiating an SMS to +917208871299 from the mobile device for validating user's mobile number. Users has to send this app generated encrypted SMS manually. Users have an option to retry sending SMS to an alternate number 8422833333.
- Click on ‘Proceed’ button and an SMS containing a unique code will be sent from the device to a predefined number. Kindly note that for sending SMS will incur standard SMS charges as per your telecom SMS plan.
- On registration screen, please enter Username and Password and click REGISTER button.
- Accept the Terms & Conditions for registration by selecting the check box and click ‘Ok’ button.
- An activation code will be sent to the registered mobile number. User has to complete the activation by inputting the Activation code in the app.
- User can now login to Yono Lite application.

I Tried to add biller- hdfc bank - so many times but always shows “can’t process, please try next time” Kindly fix this issue but when I added through Yono Sbi, it reflected in this app as well. But why it could not be possible to pay credit card bill of hdfc bank even after the process completed and an OTP received. On submitting the OTP there is always a message "Your request can not be processed, please try after some time. It is very much annoying,Please fix it. I am trying for last more than three years but never could be successful.

Dear SBI team,1. FD / RD Close Option: I have been using the SBI YONO Lite app for quite some time and find it quite user-friendly for most of my banking needs. However, I recently discovered that the app lacks a crucial feature available in the main SBI YONO app – the ability to close Fixed Deposits (FD) and Recurring Deposits (RD). I kindly request the developers to consider adding the option to close FDs and RDs in the SBI YONO Lite app. This feature is essential for users who prefer the lighter version of the app but still need to manage their deposits efficiently. Implementing this feature would greatly enhance the app's functionality and convenience for many customers. Thank you for considering this request.2. Multi-Account Support: One drawback is that the app only supports managing a single account linked to one CIF number. This limitation can be quite frustrating for users like me who need to manage multiple accounts, including those of family members. Introducing a feature that allows the addition and management of multiple accounts with different CIF numbers within the YONO Lite app would be a fantastic improvement. It would enhance the app's usability and provide greater convenience for users. While the YONO Lite app is already great, incorporating this feature would significantly boost its functionality and user satisfaction.

Application about Rooted device

I’m a SBI savings account holder since 15 year’s onwards not yet faced any net banking as well as mobile application related issues but now I’m having issue with mobile banking application that is SBI YONO LITE with an error like “Your device appears to be rooted. Rooting a device exposes the device to malware, privileged access of operating system and access to your data. It is advised not to use the rooted device to perform Banking activities”. I’m using iPhone 14pro since a long time onwards I don’t experienced any issue with SBI YONO LITE app and my mobile which is not also not rooted and it’s completely Apple care product that too.Now application is saying your phone is rooted but my mobile is not rooted surely. I have also seen few posts regarding the same problem in Apple community portal which is posted by some other SBI customers. Please try to escalate this issue as soon as possible from your end to get more services from your team. Thank you in advance.

I have had the Yono lite version and I have almost never had any problem either signing in or transacting any amount through this app ever! The best mobile banking app in my wallet that lets me keep a tab on my transactions and other banking functions right at the tip of my fingers. Only ever so slightly I must have faced an issue with delayed OTP that too if it was under maintenance otherwise SBI has the best mobile banking and internet banking apps amongst all other public sector banks!Also one can request chequebooks, get debit cards hotlisted or apply for a new one or even open an online fixed deposit that is easy to keep a focus on if If I am on the move. Definitely recommended!
