I admire your app and your cause at first that is why I became a loyal customer but lately you are making my purchases quite tiring as my card keeps on getting declined even if I have more than enough amount to cover the payment. Plus what’s demeaning is when you declined my actual card application due to unmatched information. What unmatched information are you talking about when everything is as what could be seen in my submitted ID. Your customer service reps are sometimes inefficient in addressing concerns. They cannot answer my questions properly. It’s like we are just running around the bush. No light at the end of the tunnel as the idiom goes. Please fix your system and your actual card application review because instead of retaining your loyal customers, you are driving us away from you. 😇

Writing another review since the first one I posted got deleted. Again, your CS reps are of no help at all. Your troubleshooting recommendations are of no help and don’t work. Your app shows a message of “risk detection… and to contact customer support to reverse…” but when I emailed your CS they provide canned responses and useless resolutions, worst they keep on saying they can’t do anything about it which is ironic given the message in your app. Here are the steps I have tried so far to “reinstate” the “privilege” of my account to make a purchase. Log out and log in - didn’t work Deleted and reinstalled app - didn’t work Changed payment method multiple times - didn’t work Waited for 3 and MORE days - didn’t work Combination of ALL OF THE ABOVE - didn’t work Now every time I open the app, still the same message. Got fed up and wanted to delete my account, but it was asking for my account ID which can’t be seen on the app. So I emailed your CS to get that info or to have them delete my account, but what do you get? They also don’t know the info (???) and can’t do the deletion on their end - AGAIN NO SURPRISE as to what your CS CAN’T DO - they don’t DO anything at all. To anyone who wishes to download this app - better look for an alternative.

Risk System Problem

I have encountered a lot of problem with the app. My cards won't connect and I incurred admin fees for not being able to pay on time because of the the card problem. I was told it was a problem with the other banks not accepting atome, so I change three times. I'm not that much bothered even though ot was a hassle since I really wanted to enjoy the app. However, last week while I was trying for my SECOND PURCHASE I emcountered the propmt regarding the risk system blocking my purchase and the app prompted for me to appeal. After reaching out, the customer service told me that I won't able to use it anymore yet they refuse to give me the reason as to why. How come? How do you expect people to appeal when you don't even give a reason? What do we do appeal in the dark? You blocked me out from the main purpose of the app but then again I can still use the card so it I did not comment on it, but lo and behold, now that I have updated, I CANNOT EVEN PAY FOR OTHER BALANCES?! what the hell atome? Can you at least give us some reason as to why this should not be reported to the government? Because to be honest I am already nearing my limits. One disappointment after the other. I could not even recommend this to other people. 😡

So this is what happened today, I got a call from unknown number and he i introduced himself as a customer service from atome and he offered an increase in credit limit and in order to do that I will receive a text message with otp and it needs to be heard in the recording. ( I know it’s an opportunity for me that I shared the otp and I’ll be responsible for that). After sharing the otp, I realized I was charged so I called customer service 3 times and asking for help but I was pushed back to call the merchant so I did. What’s funny is that the merchant can’t do anything as well and pushed me back to my bank. I can say I’ve learned my lesson based on the experience and am sharing this to educate other users as well. I’ve rated one star for a sole reason that I don’t feel safe now that a scammer can have my account details and can do online transactions and the fact that they have my phone number to call. I don’t share my personal number linked to my accounts and it’s always in private setting and this number is new. At first I am happy with Atome, but now I am so disappointed. Didn’t get any help from their cs and worst is my details is not safe.
