The ComfortDelGro Taxi Booking App has been given a new name - CDG Zig - and a brand new logo! It does not only retained features such as its ride hailing services and favourites that users are familiar with but it is also offering more dining and “dabao” options now. What’s more, electric vehicle (EV) owners can also locate the nearest available EV charger any time. New users can sign up with CDG Zig through Facebook or Google, and are automatically registered into the rewards programme.

Software Unstable

Experience some forms of instability of the software which I encountered twice in a day when it pop up message “Oops, Something Went Wrong”. And a scrolling icon appeared and kept gyrating non-stop for at least 5 mins and I do not know whether the call for Comfort taxi had been successfully executed, and I instantly cancelled the transaction. However, I saw a message from Comfort apps that a taxi already on the way to pick me up, and I got to change my initial decision to make mine way via the bus, to quickly return back to my original location which I entered in the apps. It was very dis-tasteful and frustrating though!
Hope the authority concerned to seriously look into the matter and rectify the problem and improve on the service quality!

App not working as it should be

This App is bad compared to the old Comfort app. I have twice encountered App telling me no taxi and I then cancelled the booking. But after a few minutes, with the App still opened, a notification popped saying it has managed to find me a taxi. It is like, what??, as I have already cancelled booking. Once the notification goes away, the App will not show the taxi number that it has managed to find for me. I have to close and reopen the App before I can see the booking again.

The App also does not allow booking immediately after I have cancelled a previous booking where the App was not able to find me a taxi. It keeps saying I have a previous booking, which I have cancelled. Note that at this point, I was not aware the App is still looking for a taxi even though I have cancelled.

Comfort previous App was much better. Why roll out something with so many bugs….???

Dear Sir/Mdm, if you have already updated the CDG Zig App to the latest version (v6.5.2), you may need to uninstall and reinstall it again to resolve the issue. Lots of bugs and lack of functions

There’s no chat option and most of the time you can only call your driver, which is a bit awkward especially when you just want to tell your driver some simple info like which exit you are waiting add.

I have experienced a few drivers who I assume did not register their phone number with the app therefore I could not contact them at all. One time a driver had already driven down to my location and reached but got lost at a different building so he drove in circles before cancelling so I had to book a new trip. Being able to contact the driver is a basic must-have feature.

I also tried to write in about how the app cancelled one of my rides without informing me after I had already waited for my driver to reach but the app’s feedback form has a very short word limit that did not allow me to type out the full scenario.
