Cannot log in with WiFi
The app is totally useless when there are faults. For the last 2 days we are unable to log in because we can’t even open our app. Hence we cannot get authenticated. So you customer service is poor as well. How is it that a bank like DBS with all its resources cannot resolve their app issues and asks its customers to go to the bank physically especially during the COVID period to do our banking!
App is buggy and not responsive
I have been using this app since 2019, and the user experience has been horrendous. The app is quite unstable, and at times certain functions within the user interface can cause the app to close abruptly.
More recently, I observed that two functions were not working properly. Firstly, the research function is not working, and clicking the research tab under Invest causes the app to shut down instantly. Secondly, using the pay by instalment function for credit card transaction also causes the app to not function properly. I’ve feedback to the DBS team via the hotline but as of yet, the app is still facing these issues.
I hope DBS prioritises more development effort in this app. It is such a pity to see a bank branding itself as a frontier in digitalisation but releases apps which are of poorer quality than other peer banks.
UNSTABLE APP THAT DOES NOT UPDATE
At the airport this morning I was unable to use scan and pay. It directed me to manage scan and pay which I did and then it confirmed ok but when I tried again, it failed. I used Citibank and UOB instead. 20 min later i went to the SDS tab for T bills and it showed closed issues and not the upcoming one 20 Mar. it showed NOTHING. Sitting next to my wife, her app shows the issue that is coming up but mine does not. Again I switched to UOB. What is going on at DBS? I have been using less of its card services too as staff had to run after me when the card doesn’t go through. Now the lines are longer when a DBS card is used. What is going on Piyush.
