With all the streaming services out there it seems like we are paying an awful lot every month. We have been customers for decades in multiple states. The equipment charge is really irritating in that it never ends—in the past, at some point you own the equipment—it seems like major unjust enrichment to pay what the equipment would cost several times over and still not own it. We love the Hopper and the Joey but come on! With all the other options out there I would think Dish would do a lot more to reward long-standing customers—a foreseeable end to paying for the equipment would be a start. It also really irritates me that you offer better deals and programs for NEW customers with whom you have no established relationships instead of valuing the established customers who have been your bread and butter and have stuck with you thru the price hikes and everything else.

Cable never work

You know I pay a lot for cable and everything and I ordered a new hopper or whatever it was that they came out they were supposed to do something to the dish my cable is worse than before the guy even came out I’m looking at a black stream and you know it’s a little annoying that when you come home from a hard days work and you want to sit down and watch a show or something you know eat dinner it’s a problem and it’s like I no problem all the time so you know I don’t understand and I changed my channels and everything with a guy the other day so and he told me my bill was 118 so if I have to I think with the late charge would be 128 so I don’t know where you guys are getting that I owe this much money so it’s especially for the cable it’s not even working and then because I am a victim of identity theft which I can send you a police report the lady said you sent me an email about my redemption for my dish reward and telling me that I can’t have it because I was supposed to have it done by May 20 and with this guy hacking into my phone he mirrored my phone and access all types of stuff and I was gonna call you guys and show you the police report because I feel like I should still get that reward and now you want to just get a now I’m just gonna get one reward from my Internet but I can’t get it from my cable when I cable doesn’t even work half the time that’s disrespectful and very I don’t know just unprofessional in every way that’s definitely not how you keep customers

we set an appointment move our dish from one address to another, the technician came out on Friday and explained to us due to us, not having Internet Internet connected at a time it would be redundant for him to connect the dish, he then tried to sell us on Starlink Internet, stating he could connect the dish and the Internet that day, when we refused the Starlink Internet, he again reiterated that connecting the dish would be pointless at this time that he would need Internet for the dish to be functional, the technician then told us that he would make an appointment for Tuesday once our Internet was connected, we then called the office to confirm the appointment for Tuesday, we were unable to fully understand the person on the phone we were speaking to due to a language barrier, we repeatedly asked for management due to her, not understanding that the technician had mentioned that our appointment would be set for Tuesday, she repeatedly stated that she had no openings, we then explained to her that we wanted to do a buyout, to move to a new cable company since they were unable to connect our dish, she refused to give us to a manager, and again due to the language barrier it was hard to understand her, they also tried to sell us the new Internet, which we refused several times, it feels like since we refuse the Internet that this is providing, they’re not willing to work with us and connect the dish dish on the date that their technician said he would!!My wife asked her how much it would be to break the contract. She said 150+ the six months we owe, we do not owe anything. We are fully paid up and all we wanted to know is how much it would cost to break the contract.as soon as this contract is over,I will never deal with this again!!!

TV is Changing

I have been with Dish Network over 20 years. I always felt like it was a good value. It is no longer a good value. To pay nearly $200 a month for tv is foolish and irresponsible. Other methods are available for much less. Knowing this I have still tried to stick it out with Dishnet. The past few months Dishnet and FoxSports Network have gone separate ways due to inability to agree to terms. I am certain Fox wants more and Dish won’t increase cost to customers in an effort to fight for their customers. This puts me in a predicament because I am paying $13 per month just so I can watch St. Louis Cardinals baseball on Fox Midwest. I have done without for quite some time now, hoping a deal would be struck to return my one channel I pay $13 a month for. So , The season is in the last month and still no baseball on tv. I just went in and cancelled the package I have gotten nothing in return for. I feel satellite tv is in danger of going away if they don’t find a different way to do business that can lower the cost to consumers. The right thing for Dishnet to do is refund the cost of this package since FSN became unavailable. I am also disgusted by the refer a friend promotion that has been going on for years.
