I think the app is very helpful when searching for network provider care and creating healthy habits. Tracking for daily activities is quite a chore though. I understand being held accountable however i have had the app and my Garmin/Garmin Connect app all 2023 and for whatever reason my activities and steps do not synchronize. I have to manually add them on the daily and by the end of the day i either forget or already having a date with Mr Sandman. Please fix this hiccup

I’ve had BCBS of MN for part of the two years. It has been an absolute nightmare every month to pay the premium for our plan. Why on earth do you make it so difficult for people to pay their bill? I scour the websites and the apps every time, trying to find where I need to go to make the payment, and every month I give up and have paid it as a guest, even though I have a registered account. Now with your new app, that doesn’t seem to work either! I’ve even searched your FAQ section and typed in how to pay premium and I get zero results. Really? NO ONE else has asked that question? You click on ebill and it takes you to an info page with no option to actually pay your bill and literally no one is asking how we’re supposed to do it then? I find that very hard to believe. I’ve been on hundreds of websites, I’ve never seen one so utterly incompetent when it comes to user friendliness. I’m only 40, so I can’t even imagine how frustrated people in their 60’s or 70’s are over the monstrosity that is your app/website. Perhaps I shouldn’t be surprised that an insurance company wouldn’t care about people, but call me a sucker I guess. I suppose at the very least I would think you’d strive to run a successful business. But again, when you’re robbing people blind, I guess that’s where your success comes from. I digress. I will never recommend BCBS to anyone at this point, and I sure won’t be recommending your website or your app. Do better. It is not hard to have the ONLY thing people care about within your app or your website to be more easily accessible. Final thoughts: I’ve spent roughly 45 minutes wandering around their app/site and roughly 50% of the time I’d click on something, it would sit there doing nothing as though I hadn’t been tapping and clicking multiple times. That’s a lot of glitching. I also tried clicking on my account several times only to get error messages. I did come across a LOT of error messages as well. Absolutely without a doubt the worst app/website/business experience I’ve ever had.

The number of times it brings you to the webpage to then have to log in again instead of just working on the app—which we downloaded to Avoid the Webpage—is that obnoxious. Then I can’t find any information on providers—literally none. And when I try to get my member id # by clicking their link, instead of bringing it up in the app, it goes to the website AGAIN and gives me instructions on how to find it on my paper one. I was using my phone for a reason, and if you can download it off of there, it should just bring you to it. Then it tells me to download a different blue cross app instead which is 300 times Worse! All of this is no better than talking to their AI for 6 hours just so it understands your name. Might as well just call them—wasting your day away regardless.

Trying to view basic information like how much I’ve spent towards my deductible is either broken or simply inaccurate. It is functionally impossible trying to access and explanation of benefits for a claim. Try through the app you are already logged into and it opens a web link inside the app, needing you to log in again. Then finding the correct page takes effort, before finding the EOB, only to click it and initiate a download that will not work because it is a web link opened inside of the app. Try to access this in a web browser and the experience is severely hampered since it is all still designed as if it is an app experience, so interactions hang or don’t work with a mouse, and it will literally cause the browser tab to crash. Just an awful experience all around.
