I’ve been with the credit union since 2022 after the took over the previous credit union California Bear. Since then, they’ve come through tremendously! I went through their auto loan and was recommended that I use their auto broker. I told them the type of car I was looking for, how much I wanted to pay a month and they did not disappoint! Leo ( the auto broke found me a car that was newer than I thought I could afford for cheaper than what I was approved for. He took care of the sales, tax and licensing, filled out and submitted my DMV paperwork and delivered the car to me. Later, I needed a personal loan for an emergency, after a year I was able to consolidate my loan as well as pay off my other bills. All of this while helping me build up my credit. They gave me options financially that would help me as I am a single parent and budgeting is a must. The best part is that the monthly auto payments are direct out of my checking account through payroll so I don’t have to transfer money to pay multiple payments. This credit union is a God sent gift. My credit score went from poor to almost excellent in 2 years time! I’m never going to a regular bank ever again. Their rates and finance charges beat the lowest banks by far! I highly recommend. Next on my agenda is to get a certificate that pays top notch percentage! Thank you for allowing me to live stress free financially! Now, I can focus on traveling and getting that promotion!

I loved the new update from a few months back. The only thing I didn’t like about it was the change in the mobile deposit section; I always thought that the auto-capture feature for taking check photos was an unnecessary hassle.With the latest update, I can’t even seem to cash my checks anymore— the auto-capture feature keeps prematurely triggering, taking blurry, misaligned photos of the check.Other than that, the app definitely has a 5-star user interface. But the mobile deposit is the most important feature for me, so the bugginess has been extremely frustrating. I just wish we could go back to manual capture for our check cashing.

I had an issue with my account that was not going to be easy or quick to resolve. I went into the branch and the teller who was working did not offer any help and basically told me to go home and figure it out. I put it on the back burner but knew I had to do something. Beginning a new month and the problem still there I took a chance and went back to the branch. This time I got Mayra D. She handled everything without blinking an eye. She was very professional but also very understanding and kind. I can’t tell you how thankful I am for Mayra. She put no blame on me and made me feel comfortable throughout the whole process. Thank you Mayra so much!!! I don’t know what I would have done without you!!!

I’ve been a customer almost to all the banks that exist here in California. In 2015 someone recommended me Credit Union of Southern California and I told myself Why not try since I already had pretty much experience pretty much the same experiences with all these other banks. I’ve been a client customer with Credit Union of Southern California since 2016. I have a different opinion about this bank, Very reliable great customer service always try to assist my needs, I truly believe its the best bank, 100% will recommend this bank to others.
